THEOLOGICAL PRIMER
I) Theology proper is Theology which deals specifically with the being, the attributes and works of all mighty God.
a) There are four proofs/arguments that God exists
i) The Cosmological argument which is argument regarding cause and effect,
(1) The term cosmological comes from the Greek word, cósmos, which means world.
(2) The argument then can be defined as, because the world exists, it must have a maker (God), because something does not come from nothing.
(3) It has to be either a divine being or chance. We must believe in the eternal existence of something. ii) The Teleological argument – argument from purpose.
(1) There is a detectable order or design in the universe, which contends for an intelligent designer.
(2) The

Its a more personal access to God. Genesis 2:4, Exodus 3:14, Psalm 107:13 iii) ADONAI is a reference to the Lordship of God. It describes the Lordship of God over us as individuals. Malachi 1:6, Genesis 18:27 iv) JEHOVAH JIREH – means that the Lord Will Provide. The name memorialized by Abraham when God provided the ram to be sacrificed in place of Isaac. Genesis 22:14
v) EL SHADDAI: means that God is Almighty or The God of the mountains it speaks of God’s ultimate power over all. Psalm 91:1 Genesis 49:24; Psalm 132:2,5
c) Just as there are arguments that insist that there is a there is a God in heaven, there are those beliefs or arguments in which some believe that that there is no God or they have different views then that of monotheism which is the doctrine or belief that there is only one God, which is the views of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. These are five of the most popular.
i) Atheism is the disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or

iii) Evolution is the process by which living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms of life during the history of the earth. iv) Polytheism is the belief in or worship of more than one god.
v) Pantheism is the teaching that teaches that everything is a god.
II) God 's works regarding creation
a) Reasons for studying the Doctrine of Creation.
i) The creation process plays major importance in the Scriptural presentation of God. The Bible puts much emphases on the creation, the very first verse (Gen 1:1) tells of God 's creative power. ii) The creation was important to the church father, so important that they placed the doctrine of creation in the apostles creed. iii) The doctrine of creation is important to us because it helps us to understand other Christian dogma iv) The doctrine of creation is necessary because it helps to differentiate between our beliefs and that of other religions.
v)
vi) The dogma of creation is vital for it stands against the natural sciences and their version of creation which is evolution.
III) The elements of the Biblical teaching on
McCloskey begins by addressing the cosmological argument. He proposes that the existence of the world itself does not give reason to believe in a necessarily existing being. McCloskey believes there is a lack of evidence to show the world had a cause and that God was that cause. However, Evans and Manis suggest there are beings in this world that are unaware of how they came to exist. These beings are often contingent on another being. Th...
ZEDEKIAH (m) "justice of the Lord" (Hebrew). The name of several characters in the Bible.
The claims of rationality and the so-called scientific approach of the atheists and agnostics have been debunked. In the coming pages we shall see that both in the creation of the universe, in things created within the universe and in the creation of living beings, an intelligently designed process is going on, and we shall demonstrate that the objections of agnostics and skeptics to this assertion are merely delusions.
Humans can never know for the certain why the universe was created or what caused it but, we can still create arguments and theories to best explain what might have created the universe. The cosmological argument is another idea to prove the existence of god. Many philosophers debate wheatear the cosmological argument is valid. The cosmological argument starts off quite simply: whatever exists must come from something else. Nothing is the source of its own existences, nothing is self-creating []. The cosmological argument states at some point, the cause and effect sequence must have a beginning. This unexpected phenomenal being is god. According to the argument, god is the initial start of the universe as we know it. Though nothing is self-creating cosmological believers say god is the only being the is self –created. Aquinas, an Italian philosopher, defended the argument and developed the five philosophical proofs for the existence of god knows as, the “Five Ways”.[]. In each “way” he describes his proof how god fills in the blanks of the unexplainable. The first way simply states that, things in motion must be put in motion by something. The second was is efficient because, nothing brings its self into existence. The third is, possibility and necessity [!]. Aqunhias’ has two more ‘ways’ but for the purpose of this essay I won’t be focusing on them heavily. These ways have started philosophers to debate and question his arguments ultimately made the cosmological argument debatable. The cosmological argument is however not a valid argument in explaining the existence of god because the conclusions do not logically follow the premises.
While there are many religions out there, only a few have a similar God. Although they
The creator can only determine the Christian worldview and the origin of life. As followers of Christ, we believe that in (Genesis 1:1) with just the spoken word, creation was set in place. This view is what theism places as the foundation of a belief in God. In its consistency through out the Bible our origin is displayed in faith and by understanding (Hebrews 11:3).
Considerable care and effort are needed to help students understand the difference between the methodology of science, with its naturalistic operational assumptions, and the naturalism as a worldview. (Anderson 89)Schools should not neglect teaching creationism when students are able to benefit from being informed about both beliefs of evolution and creationism. It is relevant as long as religious views are not infringed upon them.
In Genesis, god created merely by speaking. It was god who created the heavens and earth also known as cosmos. Water was already pre-existent matter; everything else was created by god. It all began when god spoke in the darkness and said let there be light and there was light. God saw that the light was good. During the day there would be light, and the darkness would be at night. By the second and third day, god created a firmament (dome) which separated the waters from the waters. God called the firmament heaven and said that all the waters under heaven should be gathered as one allowing for dry land to appear. This created one place for the water and another place for dry land. It was the dry land that beca...
“Elohim”, meaning "God", is sometimes confused to show the plurality of the Godhead, this is not a correct interpretation. In the Hebrew words are plural in construction but singular in the way that they are used. Also the Hebrew often used plural forms to show majesty or greatness of one person or deity. Even though these are plural words, to say they represent a multiplicity in the Godhead would be wrong.
Religious text, like the Hebrew Bible, tell stories of an all-powerful god. In Psalms he is celebrated and praised, his relationship to man defined as a shepherd watching over a flock of sheep (INSERT

Intelligent Design is the idea that living creatures on Earth are so complex that, they could not possibly have been created through the natural selection. It is the belief that there must be an ?intelligent designer? that created us all. This creator is usually referenced as God. However, it may also be referenced to as an alien. Intelligent design leaves that possibility open as well. Many professionals feel that intelligent design is not a scientific theory that can be tested. They feel it is more of an opinion, preference, or belief.
Truth about creation is found only in the Bible (Ryrie 206). The first verse of the Bible Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth, is an absolute statement.
Most of the religions have a general view that God is not only omnipotent (capable of doing anything) and omniscient (all-knowing), but also, supremely benevolent (all-good). These religions would mainly include Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
does exist. He further states in his arguments that even though the watch has no proof of an ingenious plan, it does have a motive to make a person think so. Meaning that even if the universe had no proof of being created, it is only apparent that it was created by God for a purpose.
