The Big Bang Theory Humans have long been curious about the origin of the universe. They also have been curious as to how and when the Earth was formed. It all started with the Big Bang. The life we are living as we know it would not be the way it is without it. In order to better understand The Big Bang Theory one must understand what it is, how it began, the evidence, and what happened during it.
The Big Bang Theory is the approved model that scientists use to describe the beginning and original evolution of the universe. The Big Bang created all of the matter and energy in the universe, including hydrogen and helium. Scientific models say that the universe, at this point, was filled homogeneously with a high-energy density, and that the very high temperatures and pressure started the rise to rapid expansion and cooling. Then the universe kept decreasing in density and temperature, the energy of each particle began to decrease and transitions of the phases continued until the fundamental forces of physics and elementary particles changed into their regular form. Since particle energies would have dropped to values that can be obtained by particle physics experiments, this period is subject to less speculation (Wall). According to NASA, after inflation the growth of the universe continued, but at a slower rate. As space expanded, the universe cooled and matter formed. One second after the Big Bang, the universe was filled with neutrons, protons, electrons, anti-electrons, photons, and neutrons (Williams). As we see, the Big Bang theory is the best explanation that researchers have found. Singularities are thought to exist at the core of black holes. Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure.
