Did you know that the LA Lakers of the National Basketball Association(NBA) hold most of the leagues greatest players in history? Did you know that the Pittsburgh Steelers have most Super bowl Championships in the history of the National Football League(NFL)? I bet there are some people in this world who did not even know that the Boston Celtics of the NBA have the most Championship Titles in the history of the NBA. In this essay, I am going to tell you about the history of two of the best teams of the NBA and one of the best teams from the NFL.
The LA Lakers are one of the best NBA teams in the history, well the second best statistically speaking. The LA Lakers hold the second-most NBA Championship titles in the history of the NBA at 16.
The best team in the history of any sport is not determined by player statistics. It is not about who had the best player. It is always about who had the best team and the most championships. There were a lot of good teams in the NFL, but there was only one team that was the best and that was the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pittsburgh Steelers hold the most NFL Super bowl Championships Titles with six(the most by any team in the NFL). When they got their sixth super bowl title, people started to call them the six-burgh Steelers or just six-burgh. The player that contributed this great historical team were Mel Blount, John Stallworth, Lynn Swan, Terry Bradshaw, Mean Joe Green, Jack Lambert, Franco Harris, Rod Woodson, Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes, James Harrison and Jerome Bettis. There are some current Pittsburgh Steelers that already have moments that will go down in history. The big Ben Rothesburger, Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, Markus Wheaton and Deangelo Williams. These people I have just named, are either in the hall of fame already or heading into the hall of fame in the
I believe some of these players that I named in this essay were saved from their childhoods. I believe some of these players saved themselves by know that the are destined for greatness. They were troublesome when they were young and didn’t get good grades in school. None of that matters now. All that matter is the historical impact they have made in this world. One day I said to someone "I am not good in math" and they said "you are right, you never studied." One day I said to someone "I cannot write" and they said "you are right ,because you have never written before." Perfection comes after hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft. If you follow your dreams like these people did, you will one day, be known as one of the best in history and make history, because once you make history you can not change it, it is

The winning that the Steelers have done in the past forty-three seasons has been remarkable. Information gathered from "Pittsburgh Steelers Team Encyclopedia” has shown that the Steelers have had a winning season
“Take Me Out to the Ball Game, but Which One?” by Tim Chabot is an essay that is very effective at comparing and contrasting basketball and baseball during the 1900s. Chabot’s thesis is very clear. He ends his introductory paragraph with the question of whether basketball should take the place of baseball and become the national sport.
In the nineties the Chicago Bulls had an awe inspiring and credible team. The top two records from the Chicago Bulls in this era are still among the top ten recorded high records of all time. The Chicago Bulls acquired their best two series in the years of; 1992 and 1996. In 1992, the Chicago Bulls went 67-15, and in 1996 they had 72 wins allotting only ten loses (www.NBA.com). The highest record, of the time, in the top ten records was broken by the record of the Chicago Bulls in 1996. In 1996 the Chicago Bulls defense made 345 blocks, 745 steals, and caused 1,175 turnovers. The offense was responsible for 544 three point shots! While in 1992 the team had a low percentage of making their three point shots only making 138 out of 454 attempts. However they managed to make 3,505 two point shots out of an attempted 6,714. They also were ...

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional team that has an extensive history. There are also many unique details about them that other NFL teams do not have. There creator was a great man who started the team from practically nothing, their name and logo represent great tradition, and lastly, they have won many championships.
We all know the worst team in the NFL, the Raiders, but do we know the best? To your answer question the best team is the SanFrancisco 49ers, hands down. People may say they aren’t because of the 9 bad years they had. If you look back on their past success in the 1980’s and 2011-present you might think twice. The 49ers are the best ream in the NFL because of all the great success, great players, and great moments.
The bulls were the best team in the NBA back in the day. Today the bulls have made many playoff appearances but haven’t won the finals, or even made it to the finals.
One hundred and twenty six decibels, the record for the loudest indoor arena, goes to the Sleep Train Arena, and the home of the Sacramento Kings. The record was broken at a Kings Bucks game, and though the fans were able to break a record, the Kings still lost. Since relocating to the tiny city of Sacramento, the Kings have never really been a good team. The team has only seen mediocre players with the occasional appearances of great players visiting, arriving only to pound the team and the aspiring hopes of the minimal fan base. Though the franchise has seen a couple a playoff runs and one Conference Finals debut, in which they were beaten, the team has found a way to persevere. But with new ownership comes a fresh start for a team that has been licking the bottom of the barrel. Why do such loyal fans deserve this treatment. People call the franchise lost, and the team a mess. What seems to be the unanswered question to all this is, why. What makes the Kings so bad?
I chose to write about the Phoenix Suns basketball History mainly because they have gave me, “the fan” great memories. The Suns introduced me to a whole new world of sports. When I watch their Basketball games it’s probably different from any other fan’s viewpoint. I tend to analyze their games and try to think what their next move is going to be. Other fans just cheer which is alright.
Defending Titles Diversely: A Persuasive Essay about the Lack of Diversity in Sports Many Americans have seen or at least heard of the movie “Remember the Titans.” The classic film focuses on a school that blends black and whites and takes on an African American head coach. The coach knows the importance of winning, but also knows the team must work together to get those wins and have respect for every single person in the locker room. Although coach Boone was still put in a tough situation with the school board and the community, he was able to lead his team, with the help of a white assistant coach, to an undefeated season. The team coming together is exactly what America does with sports.
They have won 11 divisions. championships along with numerous wild card berths. The Rams have played in the NFL for 67 years, like I said before. They played every year except in 1943 when a shortage of players, caused by WW2, left them with no team. All the players were fighting in the war.

Putting things in proper perspective, the Western Conference is loaded, five or more teams will win 55+ games and at least seven playoff slots are already locked up. When you discuss the Western Conference playoffs teams, in no particular order, you must mention 1) Golden State Warriors 2) San Antonio Spurs 3) Oklahoma City Thunder 4) Memphis Grizzlies 5) L.A. Clippers 6) Houston Rockets 7) New Orleans Pelicans 8) Dallas Mavericks. It is debateable to state, with certainty, that the Lakers are better than the Portland Trailblazers, Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz or Sacramento Kings today. The Lakers have the talent to exceed ESPN’s Summer Forcast and win 30-35 games. The Lakers are moving in the right direction and have more talent on their roster than last year. The purple and gold have a good mix of veterans and young players. The Los Angeles Lakers do not have the look of a playoff team in the stacked Western Conference however this is where the challenge of making the playoffs when no one thinks you can comes into
Are you a person that likes excitement, and watching people do amazing things with a round ball that you can hold in your hands? Or, are you someone that likes to watch all the fortunes and misfortunes that can happen in a round of golf? Have you heard the great names of Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan? These men are said to be people who changed the sport they played in for all time. Both of these men are great athletes and they were very dedicated players. I am comparing these two because it’s amazing the different things you can accomplish in two completely different sports. Also, these players broke records and gained achievements that had either never been done, or very few people had accomplished in the sport.
