T As some of you may know, the Bermuda Triangle is located in the Western Atlantic Ocean between Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico where a large number of ships and aircrafts that have mysteriously disappeared over time. Many of these disappearances have unexplained explanations as to why planes have still yet to be found. Other planes and boats have vanished from areas where the weather was not unusual. For an example, flight 19, 1945, one of the most mysterious disappearances that has happened within the Bermuda Triangle. People believe it’s supernatural events, and some people believe it’s just human mistakes, but in my opinion Ii believe it’s human error. Over the years, many ships and airplanes have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle. …show more content…
This incident is the worst in over thirty years. This ship was in Jacksonville, Florida leaving for Puerto Rico. It was had thirty-three crew members on board also was holding very large containers, with trailers and other types of vehicles. This is said to be caused by natural causes because a tropical storm had developed from hundreds of miles away and had turned into a huge hurricane which had ended up in El Faro. The hurricane started circling around the ship last reported. Soon after all communications had become hushed. After months of searching for the ship, they finally located it. The ship was found sitting in one piece at about 15,000ft in the Atlantic ocean, but still at that there was not any trace of the crew members that were …show more content…
A lot of people want to believe that there is a reason to why these planes and ships have vanished but according to Dr. Karl the explanation is simply human errors. “According to Lloyd's of London and the US coast guard, the number of planes that go missing in the Bermuda Triangle is the same as anywhere in the world on a percentage basis,” Dr Kruszelnicki said. The Bermuda Triangle is one of the most heavily travelled shipping lanes in the world. It can also be referred to as the “ Devil's Triangle” because so many ships have disappeared and thousands of people have died while traveling the
This preventable event , which claimed the life of a crew of seven, left many
The Deepwater Horizon Incident, also referred to as the BP Oil Spill or BP Oil Disaster , was considered the largest accidental marine oil spill in which eleven people went missing and were never found. The reason this was such a catastrophe was because the oil rig in which this occurred on was about 40 miles away and was not reached by the Coast Guard in time for the fire to be extinguished or prevented from getting bigger.
... (Lukee 3). Not one survivor emerged from the wreckage and the fate of the ship lasted unknown for almost three centuries (Lukee 2). The wrecked slave ship was found in 1972, during a magnetometer survey, operated by a subsidiary of Mel Fisher's Treasure Salvors, Inc (Lukee 4). Some artifacts were collected from the wreck that included bilboes and iron shackles that were used to restrain slaves (Lukee 4). When they realized that the wreck was most likely a slave ship and not a treasure ship, the company reburied the ancient findings and pieces of the ship hull that they had exposed and left the site.
The Bermuda Triangle (the Devil’s Triangle), is a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by a line from Florida, to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. It is well known for all the mysterious things that happen within it. It got its name from a news article written by VIncent H. Gaddis in 1964. He claimed that in that part of the Atlantic ocean, a large amount of ships and planes have went missing without any explanation. He wasn’t the first to claim something about that area, but he gave it the name. The first major story about the Bermuda Triangle was when the USS Cyclops went missing in 1911. It is the most famous ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle. It served has a collier for the U.S Navy during World War 1. It was on its way from Bahia, Salvador to Baltimore, Maryland. The ship never made it to Baltimore. The ship could have sunk anywhere between Baltimore and Bahia. It is not proven to have sunk in the Bermuda Triangle, but that was the area they had said it sunk in.
The Bermuda Triangle is a mysterious section of the Atlantic Ocean covering a huge area from the point of Miami, to Bermuda and Puerto Rico where numerous numbers of ships and airplanes have vanished either for good or found near by as rubble. Although a plethora of theories have come about regarding this vast areas, none of them come to show that these often disappearances occur more frequently in the triangle than in other often experienced sections of the ocean. In fact, people navigate the area every day without incident. If this is the case, then why is it that so many disappearances do happen in this area? Most of these occurrences occur to people traveling through the Bermuda Triangle either via vessel or plane. With this question
This suggests that when humans who are traveling through the Bermuda Triangle make a wrong decision as far as direction, speed, altitude, etc. goes, it can often cost them their life. The same goes for many other things such as driving, you can’t remove human error from normal, often dangerous tasks, and that is when you get problems such as the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. Another contributor to human error that Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki noted was, “It is close to the equator, near a wealthy part of the world, America, therefore you have a lot of traffic, and a lot of room for error.” (Macdonald 2017) What he meant by this was that when you put a high concentration of traffic in a relatively small area, you have the possibility for collisions and overcorrections due to human error. After all, human
The mystery of The Bermuda Triangle has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most bewildering phenomenons, and has kept scholars and conspiracists alike scratching their heads. It has defied all aspects of logic, science, likelihood, and probability. According to a late September, 2017 article by Holly Christodoulou, a writer for “The Sun”, “The Bermuda Triangle seems to have laid claim to at least 1000 lives via the mysterious disappearances of massive man-made vessels such as planes, boats, and cargo ships that remain unfound to this very day” (https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2021520/bermuda-triangle-ships-planes-conspiracy-theories/).

Flight 93, the flight that crashed near some fields in the outskirts of Pennsylvania. But what was it doing there? What caused the plane to miss its target and crash? These answers may soon be revealed when detectives can finally examine the planes black box, found just recently. Many answers however can be found through other pieces of info that have come up along the way during the investigations.
Some time in July of 1947, a mysterious flying object zigzagged across the skies of New Mexico. Within twenty-four hours the object disappeared from radar just as mysteriously as it had appeared. It was last seen in a small town in the middle of the Arizona desert, it’s name, Roswell.
...the government removed the remains of the wreckage and bodies of those who died on the ship. They also buried the bodies in Arlington National Cemetery and some at their hometowns. A memorial with the ship’s mast was placed in Arlington National Cemetery to honor the lives lost from the explosion.
The Titanic’s wreckage was due to the high speed the boat was going and the increase in icebergs entering the North Atlantic Shipping Lanes in 1912. The sinking of the Titanic worried people, so as an effect, by radar and satellite, people, like the U.S. Coast Guard, now monitor icebergs all over the country. While the titanic was the pride to the White Star Line, her sister ship Olympic was almost exactly the same but faster. In 1912 over 1,000 icebergs entered the North Atlantic Shipping Lanes. After the incident happened, people feared the future of technology. The problem with this world is that there is too much trust in our technology. Our technology has flaws and we can’t be given it too much credit.
On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 lost contact en route to Beijing, China. With 239 people on board, the plane disappeared between Malaysia and Vietnam. Days later, while rescue crews continued to search for the plane and investigators hunted for clues to what happened, authorities were not ruling out anything including pilot suicide, engine failure or some other kind of structural failure that caused the plane to break apart. Here's a look at some other theories that made the rounds in the days after Flight 370 went missing.
During these two hours radios on land were trying to get a hold of the squadron but had no luck until they heard an unclear radio transmission at 6:20 p.m. from the leader of the squadron, who was telling his men to jump off the aircraft (Edwards 1 of 15).... ... middle of paper ... ... Without a doubt, there are many incidents which have taken place around the Bermuda Triangle that nobody in the world has answers to.
