Being ISO certified, what does that mean and what is required by the organization implementing it? What is the process and procedures when registering for ISO certification and what are the advantages of doing this?
ISO means International Organization for Standardization. Organizations who decide to be certified have made a predefined choice to improve their quality management if focusing on the 9000 series or if they were focusing on the 14000 series their primary concern would be environmental management.
A mandatory requirement to be certified is to go through the registration process, which involves various phases. Mainly these phases are put in place to confirm that the current documented management system will meet the standard requirements and the policies and procedures are being effectively executed. To achieve an effective Registration Assessment the company must go through an auditing process where an auditing team will analyze the management system and its records to see if they are established and being maintained effectively. Once the organization has proven its capability to be ISO certified and is registered, they will still have to go through an auditing process every three years to maintain the quality management system in place.

...and local companies have been more frequently using ISO over the past few years. The standardization that can be accomplished through the two series of ISO, 9000 and 14000, is becoming a strong marketing tool for companies, as there is a growing demand for companies to become certified by clientele. Furthermore, organizations can reap from the advantages of becoming ISO registered by gaining better operations, increased performance and consequently more profitability. As a result from joining the ISO family, not only can the company benefit itself but International Standards also benefits the customers, governments, trade officials, developing countries, and the planet in addition.

These methods include the structure of the CPA firm and the procedures established by the firm. The CPA firm follows its specific quality control procedures to help the firm meet auditing standards consistently on every audit engagement. Quality control policies and procedures should be documented by each CPA firm, and the procedures should focus on the size of the firm, the number of offices, and the nature of the practice. The quality control procedures that firms use should address six elements such as leadership responsibilities for quality within the firm, relevant ethical requirements, acceptance and continuation of clients, human resources, engagement performance, and monitoring. CPA firms must also be enrolled in an AICPA approved practice-monitoring program or peer review in order for other CPA firms to determine and report if its quality control system is in effect and

Accreditation Canada is important in improving patient safety in the Canadian health care system (Accreditation Canada, 2009, p. 3). This is accomplished through the Qmentum accreditation program, which began in 2008 (Accreditation Canada, 2009, p. 3). The components of the program include quality dimensions, national standards of excellence, required organizational practices, and performance measures (Accreditation Canada, 2009, p. 3). For example, through accreditation of required organizational practices (ROP), Accreditation Canada is able to pinpoint which ROPs organizations are compliant with and which ones are unmet (Accreditation Canada, 2009, p. 6). According to Accreditation Canada (2009), ROPs are “evidence based practices that mitigate
Training organisations are required to keep multiple records such as performance information, health and safety and financial information which could be subject to OFSTED’s inspections. These are listed below: • If lessons are carried out with the Centre a copy of a register or attendance record will need to be available. This is registered electronically by using a registration application called Simple In/Out which provides clear and immediate reports which can be tracked and monitored by the Client Services Management team. Furthermore, if this procedure has not been followed by a team member or learner an email will be send to the individual who will need to act upon instructions been given.

Observational learning is basically learning by watching others, referred as models. There are three factors that involve modeling: the model or person being observed; the learner or person who observes the model; and reinforcement, which partially determines behaviors that will be repeated (Chance & Krause, 2009). Primary or secondary reinforcements are utilized to either decrease or increase the likelihood of future behavior(s). There are four higher order cognitive activities involved in observational learning. The learner must pay attention in order to observe crucial details that pertain to the model’s actions; the information must be memorized for purposes of being retrieved at a later time; there must be the motivation or desire to reproduce what has been observed; and then successfully reproduce the behavior (Chance & Krause, 2009). Observational learning can help learners with motor skills and hand-eye coordination such as when learning to play tennis or baseball; assist in learning effective social skills when interacting with peers or someone who represents a different culture; o...
Theorist Albert Bandura first recognised observational learning. Observational learning occurs when an individual or groups of people are observed an used as guides most commonly know as models to preform and actions that will assist them in the future (Boundless,2015 ).Albert bandura has distinguished 3 types of which include of external reinforcement this comes from environment e.g. praise, money, stickers, avoiding a speeding fine, vicarious reinforcement by observing modelled behaviour being reinforced by other people and self-reinforcement: when we are reinforced by meeting certain standards of performance we set for ourselves e.g. feeling pride, avoiding feeling guilt(Boundless,2015 ).Example Children participate in cooking classes with older children (over 14) who act as role models (observation learning), give out positive reinforcing to increase the child’s self efficacy of healthy eating. The children learn how to cook
Many questions arise when talking of TQM in healthcare, the biggest question being that is TQM making work in the healthcare world? You don’t realize how much work TQM really is, but training the staff and getting the right people doing the job is a difficult process. Not only is this a process for the suppliers, but for the “buyers” too. If you think about it, quality is different in every setting so there is no basis for what TQM would go off of. The different healthcare agencies would have to come up with all of this and make sure there is a system that keeps the agency in check as well.

Frequent exercise comes with benefits. Firstly physical activity can cause a person to loose weight. In recent years experiments have been done to support the claim that exercise helps a person loose weight. Nevertheless those experiments have shown that exercise alone does not ensure rapid weight loss but can help with maintaining weight (Day, J. 2014)....
Going abroad for medical tourism can be a tedious task. What is the guarantee that your hospital of choice matches up to the claims of service stated on its website? Healthcare accreditation programs take the guesswork out of the process by pre-approving a given hospital’s standards of service. A lot of hospitals will prominently display their accreditation on their website.

Nevertheless, implementing such system requires an effort, training, and using consultant companies to ease the establishment of the system and to get the certificate eventually.
