Imagine a world where all diseases are cured and everyone is healthy and walking on cloud nine. This could be a very real possibility if everyone got their vaccinations. Vaccinations are injections of pathogenic cells into a healthy person that causes their body to develop an immunity to a specific disease. Government force vaccinations for the benefit of a child’s health, yet more and more parents are not taking their children to get their vaccinations. Why? Although some people believe that vaccinations can be neurologically harmful, vaccines are Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved and monitored, are beneficial, and prevent, and eventually eliminate, disease.

Advocates don’t see that vaccinations are beneficial and cause little to no harm. Although vaccines aren’t one hundred percent safe, they have more pros than cons. In the worst cases, one vaccination can be the difference between life and death against a deadly disease. It is not worth the risk of not getting yourself or a loved one vaccinated. Vaccinations are effective, and have been shown to dramatically reduce the number of patients seen at the doctors with a vaccine in effect. With that being said, imagine the number of sick days you have to take a year to take care of yourself and your loved ones. Vaccinating yourself and your loved ones could potentially lead to a less amount of sick days in your household. Also, having our loved ones vaccinated make it harder for a diseases in or around your house to spread to the body.
