Eating healthy and exercising are equally as important as one another, if you want to see results incorporate both. Benefits are very rewarding and can help in multiple areas of your live making you feel better overall. Lindsey states, "whether you run a marathon, bike to work, or walk around your neighborhood a few times a week - if you really want to optimize your workout, its time to check in on your diet. Its all about moderation and balancing your food groups: proteins and carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables" (Bomnin). Without a well balanced diet your workouts will not be beneficial to your advantage.

There is no specific cause to eating disorders; the causes can vary from genetic factors to cultural pressures. Although lots of research has been done trying to prove that certain things cause more people to have an eating disorder than others nothing has been proven. One main cause of eating disorders is the family and friend pressure that is constantly on teens these days to be perfect in every way imaginable, including weight-wise. In this current generation of teens they have so much pressure coming at them from all angles, from trying to get all A’s, getting into a good college, sports, and even jobs. Many feel that they are losing control of all things going on in their lives and look to controlling their diet to be able to gain some control of their life.

People who overeat and have a food addiction eat too much food, often the wrong kinds of food, too much of the time. Binge eaters overeat every day, and they eat, not because they are hungry, but as their main way of dealing with struggles of life. Eating is a coping method. Well, we can learn simple tricks and tips on how to achieve personal health as well as achieving our dream physique. In this overall look at health at health and fitness, I will teach you how I eat well, buy supplements on a budget, and exercise efficiently and properly. Most people use the same justification when it comes to eating wholesome and healthier foods. They always say that they cannot afford it, or that they don’t have the energy to cook or prepare food for the week. Well, if we have the energy to eat out six times a week, or if we can afford to spend money on fast food every day, we can easily prepare meals and eat healthy.
