Samuel grew up with Miracle, now you might wonder
Where Miracle got such a name, Miracle got his name
Because he was born dead not a heart beat or
Breath in him, as preparations where made for
His the miracle happened out of no where.
Very slowly Miracle came to life like
The sun breaking the darkness of night
In the eastern sky at the break of dawn.
His mother, Angel, and his father, Knight
Where astounded for they had witnessed
A miracle, so naturally that’s how Miracle
Got his name. Sam and Miracle first met in
The city of Crump. Both of the young boys
Were in the city buying goods because at
This time once a boy turned ten he was considered
A man and he needed to be responsible
And take care of things that needed to be done.
Both boys were kept sheltered from the world by
Their parents till now, so seeing the city for the first time
Was a shocking experience for both, especially by
Themselves. They met at a small deli in the city.
They talked and decided that they should meet
Again sometime and maybe play some games
Together. The two boys met every other day in
The city where they played together. They grew to
Be best friends. Whenever you saw one of them you saw the other. They were inseparable, they went together like the land and the sea. One day Miracle brought his friend
Kigan with him to the city and right away
Sam fell in love with her and he treated her as if she were a diamond that had never been touched by human hands. He treated her so precious. The day came when a big festival
Was going to be held in the city and Sam asked Kigan
if she would join him. Kigan told Sam that she would love to join him but had no interest in him and that she was in love with Miracle.
After hearing this, Sam was outraged and ran
The story of Miracle’s Boys basically describes the struggle to keep three brothers together without the help or supervision of a parent/adult. The eldest brother, Ty’ree is taking care of his younger brothers, Lafayette, who blames himself for the passing of their mother, and Charlie, who was just released from a detention center after being of armed robbery. These brothers basically struggle to keep the family together, and help each other through the grieving after the death of their parents. The rising action of this story is when Charlie gets back from the detention center. He is now the reason there is tension in the family. The climax is when Lafayette realizes that Charlie has changed. Next, the falling action would have to be when Lafayette sits on the stoop with Charlie, and Charlie starts to open up a little bit. This lessens the tension. The ending basically shows how the brothers begin their road to
The study of religion is often a rigorous process because the central tenets of the subject: image, ritual, and myth are often copious in their complexity. For example, consider the multiple meanings that are inherent in the image of a crucifix. Some Christians might view it as an image of suffering, whilst others would reject that notion and instead perceive it to be one of love. These differences may seem inconsequential at first, but they can overtime shape the beliefs of an individual and by extension a community. To understand this dynamic better one only has to analyze the Christo Aparecido (Christ Appeared), an authentic Mexican crucifix with a fascinating history from the colonial era to the present. This history is made known by the text, Biography of a Mexican Crucifix: Lived Religion and Local Faith from the Conquest to the Present by Jennifer Hughes, from which I contend that over the life of the Christo Aparecido there continues to be an understanding among devotees that this crucifix is sacred because it displays animus while being a vestige for the sacred to occupy. To support my position I will attempt to relate the moments where the Christo Aparecido is said to show signs of life, in particular his stay in Mexico City during the colonial era and his role in more modern times with rival groups clashing over its efficacy in the village of Totolapan.

They go to the zoo, and after a while, she becomes no longer mad at him. He then takes her to the carousel where she rides it. He promises her he will not leave. He has been feeling sick. He goes home and gets sick, so his parents book him into the medical place. Then he says that is all he will tell you. He said to never start talking about people because you will start to miss them. Then it ends.
Angels in America is a story about two couples, which are different, but, at the same time, somehow similar. The main difference between the couples is that one gay (Louis Ironson and his lover Prior Walter), and the other traditional (Joe Pitt and his wife Harper). The story is quite simple, about ordinary people, however makes people feel the mystical atmosphere, skillfully connected with realism. As a "fantasia," Angels in America is a major departure from prevailing theatrical realism, with detours into the religious and the supernatural — angels, ghosts, apparitions, and visions appear over and over. The play is a great combination of the real life situation, and the mystical figures, which help the heroes to understand the true life values.

Angels in America is one of the most powerful plays written in the twentieth century. The play explores themes such as AIDs, homosexuality, drug addiction, spirituality, politics and identity specifically during the 1980’s. This ground breaking piece of work is not only entertaining, but also thought provoking. Angels creates dreamlike envisions of scenes and yet maintains a form of realism in the plots and characters. Tony Kushner is both the author of the play and the screen writer for the brilliant rendition of the HBO mini series with the same name. Angels in America Part 1: The Millennium Approaches is a phenomenal piece of work to read as well as to watch! The story follows a variety of characters in New York City between 1985-1986 dealing with issues of homosexuality, sexual disease, addiction, and denial.
In Langston Hughes’ essay “Salvation,” Langston talks about the first time he is going to be saved from sin. Langston is a young boy around the age of thirteen. He is going to church to see Jesus for the first time. In which case, he truly experiences religion for the first time in his life. Throughout this essay Langston uses many narrative techniques such as, imagery, metaphors, and irony to explain his interpretation of that one night when he did not see Jesus.
Heroism demands self-sacrifice, self-discipline, self-confidence and self-respect. Ulysses S. Grant had these qualities in their most complete form. He set out from humble beginnings, and failed. At the age of 38 was a conspicuous failure. Then, like few of us, he succeeded beyond belief. Had he not had tremendous greatness within him, he could never have accomplished what he did. How did such a simple, honest and humble man raise himself in the eyes of his people and the world to the highest position a man or woman can reach - that of a national hero?
In the recent past a lot of books have been written with the religious perspective in mind and the purpose for that has been that the people have been drifting away from the faith and those who have the know how about the thing feel that is it part of their duty to bring the people back to their faith. So it is the process of making the people realize that there is something wrong with their way of life and although it has not been an easy task but many have been trying and most of them have had a history on the related field. One of the best books on the chosen topic may be that of Salvation by Earl D. Radmacher which was also helped on in the editing by the famous Charles R. Swindoll. The message in the book is simple and it is just like the drum on which the God has been beating hard enough for a very long time. They have just tried to repeat what has been said a million times already but in a very unique and a different manner. They seem efficient and they have a certain touch to their approach. They are not willing to let go while at the same time they know what their goal is and it is the way of writing, which would make the reader sit through it all and they would read the book till they finish it. So it is a religious as well as spiritual work but done in the modern day language and it is not a tale but a complete story of what we may have wanted to hear for a very long time. People should be more worried about the after life because that is the eternal life and we have to be worried about the things that would last forever. We should be doing things that will work for our salvation in the after life because there will be no worldly things to support us. In the wall that parted the two apartments there was a crack, caused by the buildings old structure. No one had observed it before, but the lovers discovered it. What love can discover. As they stood, Pyramus on one side, Thisbe on the other, they would whisper to each other innocent non-sense. With a thirst in his eyes Thisbe fled the sight, and sought refuge in the back alleys of the streets. As she fled she dropped her scarf. The drunken old man was hurt and was going to ask Thisbe for some help but just found a scarf on the ground and wiped his wound with it. Pyramus, late only because he had stopped at a local gas station to get some snacks for his dear love, finally arrived at the old winery.
