The Attacks on September 11, 2001 would change the course of history forever. Many lives will be affected in the United States of America for years to come. The attacks caused a war and the death of thousands of innocent Americans. This attack was and is one of the most disastrous act of terrorism ever. Why would they do this? In this paper I will tell you why and how the attacks happened.
Most people think the attacks of September 11, 2001 are because Muslim extremists hate our freedoms. But also Osama Bin Laden tried to retaliate the United State`1s for stationing troops in Saudi Arabia. He may have wanted to cause the United States to attack some Arab nations so he could gain more jihadists. Although it is hard to know the exact reasons for the attack of 9/11, one thing we know is why al Qaeda did what Osama Bin Laden wanted them to. Osama Bin Laden had complete and absolute control of the terrorist group called al Qaeda. Since he had absolute control of al Qaeda they would do whatever he wanted to do no matter what it was. So whatever his motives were, they were not questioned, and his orders were executed exactly how he wanted them to be.

This wasn’t just helpful for the safety of the survivors, but also for the safety of the rescue workers. The wreckage was a very dangerous mess, because there was twisted steel, concrete, and other debris which could move at any time or place. After several days their mission was no longer to find survivors but to clean up and find human remains.
Everyone has been affected by these attacks, and always will be. The footprint for these attacks will take a long time to be healed and forgotten about. The attacks however have tighten the security and hopefully no other attacks of this measure would ever be planned again. At approximately 8:45 a.m. in New York City, American Airlines Boeing 767 crashed into north tower of the World Trade Center (History.com, 2014). The plane crashed into the 80th floor of the World Trade Center. Many people were killed instantly, as a result of the crash. Unfortunately, less than 20 minutes later another Boeing 767 from United Airlines crashed into the south tower of the 60th floor of the World Trade Center. Once again, the impact of the second crash killed many people. Those not killed immediately, were trapped on the upper floors with little to no chance of survival. When two planes went into the twin towers of the World Trade Center and two others went into the Pentagon and a small town in Pennsylvania, the world was rocked. Everyone in the United States felt very vulnerable and unsafe from attacks that might follow. As a result, confidence in the CIA, FBI, and the airlines were shaken. People were scared to fly after what had happened.

This paper seeks to analyze the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center’s North and South Towers, the Pentagon, and the attempted attack on the White House, on the morning of September 11th, 2001. This rapid and large transformation has forced previous occupants and small business out of the area. It seems that the area is reserved only for the rich, high-end companies and there is no place for the middle and poor and small businesses to live there. Conversely, some people argue that the change is natural and beneficial because it makes New York more attractive.
