Blue eye shadow, neon clothes, denim,scrunchies,leg warmers, and big hair are just a few things the ‘80s are known for. Many people remember the 1980s for those things, people throw dances, have spirit days at schools,and even have 80s costumes for Halloween all in honor of the 1980’s. These aren’t the only things that make up the ‘80s though. There is much more that happened during the best decade of the 20th century. You can not talk about the ‘80s without mentioning all of the amazing movies that will forever be deemed as classics. Everyone daydreams they could skip school like Ferris Bueller, have an adventure like the Goonies, have as much fun as The Breakfast Club, or if you’re a girl, have a boy play your favorite song outside your window like in Say Anything. Everyone crowded into theaters to see Ghostbusters, Pretty in Pink, E.T. , and to watch the adventures of your average teenage boy and a crazy scientist try to get back to the future in a DeLorean. Indiana Jones whipped his way into the hearts of teenage girls everywhere. They may not have had the best special effects, but these movies are still popular today and are considered classics that will never die.
