I am thankful for many things in my life without them I would not be able to live the way I like to live. I am thankful for the fresh water we have and the food on my plate every night. I am also thankful for my parents and new technology. Without all of theses things I would not be able to live this very day. On thanksgiving it reminds me to be thankful for these things. Without the following things I would not be able to live the style that I live in today.
This thanksgiving is a very special thanksgiving because my Dad is coming from the army, My Tia is coming from SIU (Southern Illinois University) and my grandpa is coming from Iowa. It’s 8:00 am, Thursday morning and my family is already up. I take a shower and change. I threw on some regular cleaning and cooking clothes and started cleaning, while my Aunt Rosa, and my grandma start the food. Meanwhile, their cooking I'm upstairs with my sisters cleaning the room. We pick up dirty clothes, put them in the hamper fix the beds, place the shoes where they are supposed to be, and fix the dressers. We clean them off and arrange everything to look nice, after we are done with that we go and choose the outfit we want to wear. I choose the Jean dress
Thanks Giving
My favorite Thanksgiving is I think yet to come, because you dont know what the future holds. Now in the past my favorite one has been every year. I said this because every year we eat hefty helpings of good Thanksgiving food. Some of the things that you might see on the Thanksgiving table to feast on might be yams, turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, and etc………
If you’re needing to get yourself out of a rut – maybe feeling a bit depressed for some reason – then be thankful. It may sound a bit weird, but the idea is obviously not to be thankful for your depression, but to find things that you can feel more positive about.
There’s no better time of the year than the month of November for me. Besides the fact that it’s almost winter-time and it’s going to snow soon, this is when I go to my grandmas’ house for Thanksgiving.
My favorite time of the year is the fall. There’s something about the scattering leaves and the chilly, crisp smelling nights going home after a long rehearsal. This time of the year also happens to include one of my favorite holidays to celebrate, thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a great day to remind yourself of all the things in your life for which you are thankful, from small things like your favorite song or a gift someone gave to you, to more influential things in your life like the people that you care about or a hobby that you may be interested to take up as a career when you are older. Throughout the year it is very easy to take the people and things in your life for granted, forgetting how much better these things make your life. When
I love the holiday season because it reminds us to give thanks to all of our amazing blessings. This year, I was so blessed to meet you and Scott. I was so nervous that he wanted me to meet you so early, but your warm welcome instantly put me at ease. Thank you for being so kind to me this year! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The other reason they are so therapeutic, is because of the way the horses respond to people. I believe that they can feel our emotions and when you pair the right horse with a specific rider, they can respond to that person in a way that no one else can. Horses, just like people, expect you to respect them and once you do that then they will respect you and do anything for you. They also require trust because they can tell when you are scared or angry, and they will be very hesitant to work with you if you can’t give them your all in that moment. I like what Kathryn Splinter-Watkins, MOT, OTR/L and Susan Calhoun, MS, OTR/L said in their article about the benefits of horseback riding “Riding a horse is an equalizing activity in which all participants are able to participate in the same activity without prejudice regarding severity or type of disability.” This statement is so true because the horse doesn’t discriminate based on the condition or disability, to that horse you are a human
I am thankful for food, Netflix, and the ocean. I am thankful for these things because they make me happy, and when I'm happy I'm in a good mood. Being in a good mood is always a good thing because you're never negative, and your always positive. There are many people in the world who don't have a lot of things and are less fortunate so when they do get something they are thankful. I, on the other hand, have many things and yet I am still thankful for all the things I have.
Thanksgiving, a time of year when families reunite and come together to express their gratitudes. Autumn-colored tablecloths cover the tables while a display of delicious food sits atop. The aroma of turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie permeates throughout the kitchen. However, after this big meal has been devoured, families rush out the door to empty their wallets before the biggest shopping day of the year--Black Friday. Thanksgiving, a day dedicated to giving thanks, gets pushed and overpowered aside by its big brother: Christmas. The month of December flies by and the day of gift-giving arrives sooner than people realize. So why is there a rush to have a Christmas tree in the living room and Josh Groban’s Christmas album playing on Thanksgiving
