Tesla Motors, the maker of the Tesla Model S, is an American electric automaker, energy storage company, and solar panel manufacturer based in Palo Alto, California. To date, Tesla Inc. has introduced four cars to the world. Among these include the Roadster, Model S, Model X, and the Model 3. The Model S is a full-size electric sedan that debuted in 2012 and soon became the best-selling plug-in electric car in 2015 and 2016. In addition, the car is still being produced in the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. The Model S P100D currently holds the record for the fastest rising from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in 2.28 seconds. The elegant vehicle was created by the one and only Franz von Holzhausen. Perhaps the most important figure is the placement of the battery. Having the battery at the bottom of the car allows the car to have many advantages. One of them includes having a low center of gravity. Another advantage includes the many safety advantages. Among them include a lower chance of the vehicle rolling over. It also allows most of the weight to be centralized, this allows the car to turn more quickly. Since it is under the passenger compartment it makes the compartment more rigid as it is the hardest and heaviest part of the car. By making the compartment more rigid it improves the safety of the car. Lastly, placing the battery under the car allows for a quick removal for any maintenance or upgrades. In addition, the main body and chassis are made from aluminum, boron steel, and high-strength titanium. The interior is made from a few rare earth metals, plastics, leather, silicon, carbon fiber, and copper wire. The induction engine is made from copper and steel. The battery contains battery cells. Each cell contains cathode, Anode, Electrolyte, and copper and/or aluminum
