The September 11 attacks occurred in the year 2001 which were a series of attacks planned by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda. The attacks took place in New York and Washington D.C. Nineteen terrorists hijacked four airplanes that day. Two of those airplanes that were hijacked were known as the American Airlines Flight 11 and the United Airlines Flight 175. Those two airplanes were crashed into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center located in New York. Within two hours of the crash of the airplanes into the towers, both towers collapsed killing more than 2,500 people in New York alone. The fire and debris of the crashes caused other buildings like building # 7 to catch fire and collapse as well. The third plane was known as American Airline Flight 77 and was crashed into the pentagon which caused partial collapse killing almost 200 people. The fourth airplane known as United Airlines Flight 93 was headed towards Washington D.C. but was crashed into a field killing all passengers inside but not harming anyone else. The 9/11 commission report which stated the final verdict and evidence of what happen on September 11, says that this was a planned terrorists attack against the United States by the terrorist group of Al-Qaeda. Some believe what the commission report said but other people don’t which is where the conspiracy theory begins. The main question to every conspiracy theory is, if the person or group framed for an attack didn’t commit the crime, then who did and why? Since the creation of our government in 1789, we have experienced many wars and economic instabilities which we continue to have to deal with. In order for our government to recover, they are pushing upon the people unnecessary things like forci... ... middle of paper ... ...d recover and make a lot of money, and companies who made guns would benefit as well because going to war meant that a lot of guns were going to be needed. Bankers could finance the war, big corporations like the owners of the Twin Towers could claim the insurance money, and of course rich people would be the ones benefited to all the collection from insurance companies. In the end, the false play operation was beneficial for the government in every single aspect because it all went back to them. Works Cited "9/11 Commission." Wikipedia. Wikimedia Foundation, n.d.
