Teens want to have babies because they are in a stable relationship and want to start a family, but most teens have a decision to make. Some people that decide to continue their pregnancy often due to a feeling that they should take responsibility and also are a good mother. Some teens want to have a baby to keep their relationship going, but to me having a child at any age can be a big decision and will be dramatically changed your life. Then, it’s not about you anymore it’s about you and your baby he/she is going to be your main priority. The effect welfare reforms have on teens mothers is that programs have to develop in teenage parents the motivation and skills to provide financially for themselves and their children. Some teens are more likely to drink, smoke and also does drugs while they are pregnant and it can damage their baby.
