There are a lot of television shows out there in the movie industries. One of the most loved categories of TV show is teen drama. There might be a lot of popular teen drama television shows but for different reasons I pick “Gossip Girls” as the best TV show that I have watched. This particular TV show have a lot of fans around the world and a lot of people follow the gossip girls page on Instagram and twitter. The main reasons why I chose this show as the best one is because the characters are interesting and so are the situations they get into. The script is witty and full of sarcasm and most of the characters are beyond gorgeous. The show is also educational because it touches a lot of things that happens in real life. This movie revolves around a group of wealthy teens that lives in New York's Upper East Side trying to deal with a gossip page that was opened by one of them and none of them were able to identify who gossip girl was till the end of the season when gossip girl reveals itself. This page always has updated information about each and every one of them and it brings up dramas to their live by reviling their deepest secret.

...to relate to the movies because the character in the movies are way much mature, wealthy and wear expensive stuff. In reality teenagers are not that mature and unless born from a really wealthy parent, it is hard to find high school kids following fashion like gossip Girl’s characters.
Gossip Girl is the best show ever because it can be entertaining and educational all at once. The story out line and the characters are really interesting to watch and it also revolves around things that happen in teenagers live everyday like love, sex, rumor, drug, parting, drinking, dancing and cheating. How most of the characters handle things maturely and try to fix things gives ideas to the young age society about what is more to come and in what ways they should deal with it. This is a show that I personally think is the best show in the movie industry, it is a must watch show.
The film that interested me for this assignment was “Boyz n the Hood”. The movie was about a Los Angeles neighborhood expanding of drug and gang culture, with increasingly tragic results. It was about how one teen had family support to guide him on the right path in life regarding the social problems around him. The other two teens in the film wasn’t as fortunate and fell into the social problems of drugs, violence, and gangs; where one ended up dead.

The themes are all the same, rich vs poor, popular or unpopular and changing yourself to fit into the ‘norm’.
The movie main character is Cady Heron who is a homeschooled girl. Her and her family lived in Africa for 15 years. They return back to the states and place Cady into a public school for the first time. Cady meets her classmates and finds a few good friends the introduce her to a group of girls called the Plastics. She ends up joining the plastics with the motive of bring them down because her new friend don’t like them very much and thought it would be funny. However, she eventually gets assimilated into the group of three unkind girls and starts to be just like them.
In conclusion, this show focuses on many aspects, particularly gender roles and sexism. Although this show could have more diverse characters, it focuses on male and female stereotypes very well. I appreciate that there are several strong female characters who aren’t afraid to stand up for themselves and perform typically masculine

Although the movie is greatly exaggerated and does not hold to the true essence of reality, the film portrays the struggles an individual faces during adolescence. The movie that I chose to do my analysis on, is Mean Girls because it is my all-time favorite movie. I watched it a million times, it never gets old and plus I know every single line in the movie. The main character Cady, played by Lindsay Lohan, exhibits how to go from being a nerd, popular, hated and rehabilitated all in one school year. It’s hilarious movie about high school but, it also covers many interpersonal concepts that we learned in class like: verbal communication, conflict and relationship dynamics. One Tree Hill is a nine season story that starts off junior year in high school. Each episode focuses on relationships with friends, partners and parents. This is a hit TV drama, what makes it great is the message behind each plot, relatability, interesting actors, unique soundtrack, and good use of camera angles.

...s a classic that shows just how nasty adolescent girls can be under typical circumstances. Nearly every character at one point shows adolescent egocentrism. There are numerous lifespan concepts covered throughout the movie. Cady Herron is a perfect example of how tough high school can be for an adolescent girl going through multiple changes. She goes through a lot more than the typical adolescent girl. However, I think she shows how staying true to yourself is important when going through high school. The "plastics" do a great job of displaying different relationships with peers. They have strong relationships with each other, but struggle to form these relationships with anyone outside of their group. All in all, Mean Girls does a great job of displaying parenting styles, egocentrism, relationships with peers, self worth in relationships, and juvenile delinquency.
The gossip industry has become popular in the last few decades. Our society enjoys knowing about the lives of celebrities. We obsess over celebrities on gossip websites, and even obsess to the extent of stalking these celebrities. This industry has impacted our culture immensely. It has tainted our culture in several ways from creating bad role models for our children to making stalking an everyday affair; either way, the media has changed our society greatly. The gossip industry has brought new entertainment for our pleasure, but it has come with negative consequences.
