The twenty-first century’s digital revolution has totally changed the methods of work, communication and living. Today, the Internet can connect people, hardware devices, software applications, information, and resources all around the world.

Nowadays, it is impossible to imagine life without having Internet. Besides, it is obvious that the teacher must know at least the basics of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databases. These skills help teacher in selecting the right tools for their lessons and projects. If possible, today’s teacher must also be comfortable in using, application software, Internet, blogs, wikis and websites in order to connect with their students as well as their counterpart or collaborator teachers. Technology makes the teachers’ teaching and collaboration beyond the school classes and independent of time zones. Grouping of social network, inclusion of digital games, use of e-textbooks, open source books, and open source applications are becoming fundamentals of the present-day classroom environment.
