Technology has become so heavily integrated into our society, that if you stop and take a good look around you, chances are, those in your vicinity are most likely using some form of technology or another in their daily lives. This generation—my generation grows as technology does. It has become integrated into most of our lives—our education, and even has the ability to influence our decisions depending on what forms of technology people intentionally use. That being said, certain types of individuals (those who are introverted, versus those who are extroverted) may be attracted to different types of social media, the individual qualities they possess, and the possible benefits that the website can offer. Because the technology on our phones and laptops are so easily accessible, and extremely relevant, it may be important to study how certain personality types are more inclined to be attracted to certain types of Social Media. …show more content…

Introverted and extroverted qualities vary greatly from person to person, with these qualities ebbing and flowing, while ultimately making up the individual that is, well, you (and those around you). That being said, websites that are more social in nature, and focus on the relationships between individuals, such as Facebook may attract extroverted qualities, and an individual may be more inclined to utilize it for their own needs. While other websites that are more introspective in nature and focus on crafting individuality through means of learning and sharing, like Tumblr, may appeal to those with introverted qualities.
