Third, is that using technology for the wrong reasons that there is no punishment that is associated with the things that are done. Fourth, is a more in-depth view about how not to use technology is used for the wrong reasons. This is by not attacking others when using social media, email and text message because all three of these things have to do with language. Language could include making things up about a person, stalking, taking personal information, posting pictures that a person has not given approval of, saying things like wanting to damage someone physically and even sexual harassment. Gibson’s fictional world would have not been possible without the existence of software and hardware, that is why the distinction between them is very crucial and play a different part within the text.
