A teacher to me, is a person who has the ability to make every child that comes through their door, feel special and important. A teacher is so much more than an instructor or an educator. Students look to them as role models, they set the standard in how to act. A teacher uses their own experiences to guide children to discover themselves in a way in which they feel secure to do so.
What children want and need may be very different. Children need an instructor that will allow them to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. Teachers need to be able to make a child shine and be successful in a classroom no matter the criteria may be. Teachers are the center of education and have to act accordingly. They are the role models the children look to in order to see if they are doing the task correct. Teacher have many responsibilities that are led by the school, which include curriculum, safety and overall performance of the class. Teachers set goals for their students. This allows them to grow as people and let them know that they can achieve anything if they put their minds
An organized and prepared classroom sets a tone for anyone; students, parents or even other educators, that the space is a place of learning and enrichment. Organization is top priority for any teacher when designing a classroom. In addition to organization, the flow of the room is significant. The classroom must me a welcoming place for all, these children are in that classroom for six hours a day, some may even spend more time at school than at home. With that in mind, teachers need to set up the classroom that is inviting to all as well as feel like a safe space. Another step is to consider all the differentiations that the classroom might need.
