Who doesn’t know the name Taylor Swift? She is a 26 year old superstar! She has done so many things in her life and has worked hard for everything she has. First, Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989. Next, Taylor Swift sang the Star Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers game at age 11. Last, at the age of 12, she started learning how to play guitar and wrote her own songs. You can see that Taylor Swift was very talented as a young girl and has continued to work hard for all of her success. Taylor has lived a pretty amazing life. Because of her talent she was able to make a lot of successful albums in a very short time. She has written many songs and won several grammy awards.
As a matter of fact, Taylor won seven Grammy Awards! She has written 70 songs and has 12 albums so far in her life. She continues her success and will continue to write songs and release more albums for sure! Taylor Swift’s first song was “Teardrops on My Guitar”. In 2008, Swift was nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best New Artist” category, and won the Academy of Country Music’s “Female Vocalists of the Year”. Also, in 2008, Taylor Swift put out her next album, “Fearless”. When her album, “Love Story”, came out, she won “Video of the Year” and “Female Video of the Year” as well. Did you know Taylor Swift’s song “Teardrops on My Guitar”, “Picture to Burn” and “Should’ve said NO” were all extremely successful tracks? Her concerts are always a popular show no matter where she goes. Every time they release tickets for her concerts, they completely sell out in two minutes.
