Shakespeare, he shows the dynamics and roles of men and women during the Italian
Renaissance. Shakespeare’s play is evolved around and affected by men, women, and well as parents ideas on courtship and dating as well as what was expected of them.
In Shakespeare’s play he showed both sides or examples of women in society during the
Italian Renaissance. Katherine symbolizes a shrew. A shrew is very outspoken, which was very rare and unheard of during this time. A shrew expressed her ideas which were not allowed.
Katherine was a worst degree shrew, but she is a dynamic character who changes drastically.
Bianca symbolizes what is expected of a woman during this time era. She is very ideal and soft spoken as well as obedient.
Male ideas on courtship and dating are very different from women’s. Men rule the marriage/ relationship. They had full control of the women. Men ...
