The different treatments vary based on the different type of anxiety. But all treatment falls into two categories: Medication and Therapy. While both of the treatments are useful, and it is most effective when medication is combined, some people feel uncomfortable talking to a stranger about their problems. If someone does not want to talk to a therapist, it is vital that they at least take some sort of medication.
