The food market has changed drastically and has somewhat gotten better. As well as worse, like all economies. They have so many ways to create food, grow food or put it together. They have put many chemicals in food and most of it is just made of chemicals. They do not have authentic food anymore. Authentic food is most likely the best food a person can eat. For example homemade mashed potatoes or fresh apple pie. People never forget the taste of a warm and crunchy apple pie.Mexican food was very healthy and has become Americanized in some restaurants in United States and it has led to unhealthiness.

Americans have kind of twisted the way hispanics made tacos. There is a hard shell which is more like a tortilla chip at a taco shell. They have also invented soft shell. Which is kind of a tortilla wrap. Pilcher also said, “Tacos illustrate the modern invention of authenticity. The origins of tacos as s food are disputed but their absence is not unmistaken.” Pilcher, 451 Along with the hard and soft shell they have crepes. They have started wrapping tacos in crepes to make it inexpensive. It is just a mix of flour, milk and water.

The only thing that has changed is how the Mexican food in United States has been Americanized. The authenticity is not really holding a place in the united States. It is just moving along with the culture that we have not the hispanic culture. They are very homegrown and homemade type of people. They make things from scratch and many, many Americans just buy a box then make it out of their. Americans do not want to put effort in good and healthy food.
