For many parents the education of their children is very important. Many parents devote time to be involve in their kid’s education and some parents don’t. The choice of this parents can impact on how their children do in school. Having parents that care and push their kids to do good in schools it can motivate the students to do their best in their studies. Parents that are involved and monitor their children school work they would make a big impact in their children’s education. I think this topic is important because as a mother of two kids and think education is important being involve in things that benefit our kids can impact their lives in many ways. Since am only looking for results in high school students I think this data-gathering method won’t be very useful. The most suitable for testing my hypotheses can be by using the experiment method, I know it’s the one method that is less likely to be used by sociologist. I think this method would give me a better tool to prove that my hypotheses work. For this I would assign two groups of random high school students. Group one would be the students that have parents that are not very involve with their education and because they have no one to support them they may not study at all. My second group would be the students that have parents that are involved and are always helping their kids with school work and study, this student also studies by themselves. By collecting the survey, I would have a better understanding of which students have parents that are involve and which don’t. I would find out by asking in the survey a question like this “how many hours a day do you spend studying for school with a parent?” this question would give me a good overview of what the results may be. By comparing surveys this would help me see if there is a
