The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is an extraordinary book filled with constant suspense. If you 're looking for an action filled, fiction book, this is the perfet one for you! The Hunger Games has completely changed my view on books. Before, I was never interested in reading because I would get bored easily. I would never pay attention to what i was reading. If you look at books and get overwhelmed, this is one book that can definitly change your outlook on books because the suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. They both involve children killing one another for survival; however, the drama and suspense in The Hunger Games is unbelievably better. The Lord of the flies is about a plane filled with schoolboys that crashes on an unhabited island. They have to survive on their own without adult supervision unfortunetly they end up turning on each other and killing one another. Lord of the flies was written in 1954, therefore, isn 't modern compared to the Hunger Games which was written in 2008. I love the Hunger Games book; however, I was very dissapointed when I saw the movie. They left a lot of important details and information out and just the overall movie was a dissapointment. For example, during the games Katniss finds Peeta slowing bleeding to death and brings him to a cove to help him. This is shown in the movie but the most important part the left out is when Katniss starts to open up to Peeta. This is the part in the book where she truly starts to care for him.
