Being a private investigator is no easy task. Being a woman and aggressive only makes it harder. Veterans Day: A Mary Jane Morris mystery by J.J. Jorgens sets the stage for a glimpse into the life of a private investigator. Mary Jane receives a call from a friend and former partner asking for help. However, Mary Jane does not arrive in time. Unfortunately, Mary Jane is not in good standing with the local police. Therefore, it is up to her to solve the mystery of her ex-partner and a conspiracy to cheat veterans out of their benefits. Jorgen's writing style is kind of strong. Throughout the story you can tell that the author enjoyed writing this mystery novel. There are many lovable characters and believable situations. I loved

I would recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys historical fiction books where the characters learn life-altering lessons. I also feel that people of all ages would enjoy this book because it’s messages and theme was very positive. While I did enjoy this book, I think I will not be reading another historical fiction novel for my upcoming book response.
Richardson's method of writing is kind of hard to comprehend at first. Every chapter would start off with a new character narrarating their story. You don't know who it is until a few sentences later. The chapter starts with a character, but some chapters would have two or three nararators with a couple paragraphs each character. Sometimes it would be confusing, but once I found out who was talking, I would sometimes have to reread the paragraph from the start to understand the situatiuon. Another thing that bothered, maybe it wasn't the authour's fault, was that many quotation marks were misplaced all over the book. the first few were tolerable, but after a while it got annoying. That bothered me much and like I said, I'm not sure if it was the author or the publisher. I don't really like the style, but it's what the author used to get many stories into one.

In conclusion I believe this story was very good although hard to follow I would enjoy reading more of his stories. I would recommend this story to a lot of different people because the story is kind of weird in a weird kind of way.

What I like the best about this book was the portrayal of the characters. I felt like I was in the novel and experiencing whatever the characters were experiencing. The author spent a good part of the book building up the relationships between the characters. All the characters, from the good guys to the bad guys, were crafted into believable and well-developed characters. Nick Angriff came off as a rough, but likable character. His best friend, Norm Fleming, helped to build up Nick’s character by helping him with any problem that he faced.
It may mark the kickoff to summer, but Memorial Day is truly a day for honoring those who sacrificed their lives while defending the United States and its values. It’s a day to build awareness about the country’s freedom and the significant price for this freedom. Every year soldiers in addition to their families have to pay that price, which is why it was declared a national holiday by Congress in 1971.
Memorial Day to me means to be grateful for the things that I have thanks to all of the men and women who risk their lives every day. It is a day to thank all of the veterans who are with us but also the ones that have passed away. To me it is a day to say a prayer in thanks to the Veterans that have done so much for our country. It is a day in which I think about what I can do to give back for all of the sacrifices that not only the Veterans but also their families have endured.
Overall, I enjoyed the story because it was facile to comprehend as well as it was consistently enthralling to me. It never had a dull moment and it was fun to read about a town that isn’t of the traditional setting. It had a background containing many legends and old stories
Remembrance Day is about honoring the troops who fought to keep peace across the world. We often take for granted our Canadian values, the Canadian’s who went to war in distant countries believed and fought for those values that were being threatened. As a whole we pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives both emotionally and physically. A portion of the soldiers who risked their lives for us have attended St. Joseph high school. Sadly, some have not returned to their families awaiting embraces and this is an important reason why we still need to remember this ceremonial day. On November 11th, we take two minutes of silence to reflect and mourn for those we have lost. Yet for many of us, war is something we only see on television

The theme of the novel is the main thing that affects his writing style. Even though the themes of each novel mostly deal with love, each novel takes on different perspectives of love. His novels can be described as romantic, compassionate beach reads with real, relatable characters.
