“The world to me was a secret, which I desired to discover; to her it was a vacancy, which she sought to people with imaginations of her own.” ― Mary Shelley. In England during this time period they were going through the ‘Industrial revolution”. During this time period it was mainly about scientific things and religious thoughts. Victor is telling this story at an early age in his life. The two themes I choose was bad knowledge and light and fire. In this essay Frankenstein discovered what no man alive has been able to accomplish , bringing back life. He was relieved after the hardworking he had preformed. She was born on August 30, 1797 in London. She was the daughter of a philosopher and political writer William Goodwin and famous feminist Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. His creation felt lonely and everybody hated him including victor. All he wanted was a companion, somebody that doesn't hate him. Victor didn't comply with the monsters only request. So in order to get victors attention the monster mad his life miserable. He was killing victors loved ones daily and there was nothing victor could do about it. This wasn't the monsters intentions, but he couldn't live in the world where everybody was scared of him. He didn't want to give out a mean or destructive image but he just didn't know any better. The overall book was a great book to me , yes it was easy to read. I would definitely tell others about her work, her was very appealing to people my age. Usually kids don't like to read books, but this one caught my attention from the beginning to end. I would definitely read more of Mary Shelley's books.
