“Diligence, earnest and organized.”
When you are looking for someone who possesses the above mentioned qualities, here I am. These are the three words that best describe me, from my point of view.
I wish to apply for the position of vice president in Taylor’s Economics Society. I’m not sure whether I’m the one you are searching for, but I believe that with my past experience which equipped with me various skills, I will be able to do well in the position that I hold. During secondary school, I have been the given the opportunity to hold several important positions. I was the Head of Librarian, besides treasurer of the class. From these positions, I have developed my conflict management skills, dealing with various kinds of issue aroused among the librarians as well as the students who used the library. Being a treasurer, I also have my way to tackle with the people who do not want to submit their class fee!
Discuss about extra-curricular activities, I was the president of the Malay Language Society; vice president and co-conductor of Chinese Classic Orchestra; and secretary of the C...
Canadians are very proud to be a multicultural nation. In 2017, Canada will be turning one hundred and fifty years old and to show your appreciation we are asking all recent immigrants and citizens of Canada to read The Last Crossing by Guy Vanderhaeghe. Fort Whoop-Up border was located between Saskatchewan and Montana which evolves into the cities we see today. Learning historical information about Canada is important to note. In 1871 when Canada was becoming it’s own identity new settlers from European saw Canada as the New World. What was up North? And what type of people traveled on this frontier Western landscape that we now know as Canada? The Western highlights cultural differences, struggles between Indian peoples, and European encounters with Aboriginal people is well described throughout The Last Crossing plot.
Some simple adjectives I would use to describe myself in a work environment include hard-working, dedicated, resilient, driven, and detail-oriented. I often give careful consideration to tasks-at-hand and prefer to weigh the merits of different approaches before presenting my conclusions and solutions. Similarly, in my personal life I am conscious of my actions and their greater effect on those around me.
An archetypal character has many traits, especially their growth as an individual and how their collective unconscious can change, possibly even creating a new character in a positive or negative way. Their decisions and behaviour in their personality can alter their relationship with others and how others see them. In the story King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, by Roger Lancelyn Green, Sir Launcelot portrays a variety of archetypes according to Jung’s theory including a ‘hero’ as he develops on his journey and baring the agonizing ‘wound’ from his betrayal to King Arthur for loving Guinevere, but he knows what he did is wrong. His persona is that he is a very humble knight and has dedication to his commitments, even “refusing [to love the four queens]” and “‘would rather die than shame [his] honour and [his] vows of knighthood’” (125). Sir Launcelot reflects on the ‘self’ archetype which shows his acts of individualism as his aspects of his personality never change, especially his honour and worship to King Arthur being his priority. He shows true potential in battle as a skillful adversary and is always there to help others in need. Although being a traitor because of his love for Guinevere, many knights recognize Sir Launcelot as the greatest knight in Logres for his chivalrous actions towards other knights while trying to stay true to King Arthur and himself.
Roger identified personal qualities. These qualities are three and they developed through the functioning persons which are empathy, unconditional positive regard and congrue...
Athletic.Talented.Intelligent. These are just a few words that describe me.They are what my everyday experiences and actions represent in my life. But there is one word that describes me a little bit more. Because of the experiences I have had in my life so far, it is clear to see that I am optimistic.
Hilarious, Kind, Athletic. That’s how I describe myself. I am Hilarious because I’m always making my friends and family laugh. I’m always kind to children and elders. I play Volleyball, Basketball, and track that’s why I’m athletic.
Some of the traits that are most important to me are being considerate, dependable, easy going, and being open minded. 1. What is the difference between a. and a. Why do these words describe you? Provide examples from your experience that illustrate how each word describes you. Considerate, dependable, easy going, open minded, and flexible are all traits that describe me.
The trait I believe I reflect most is caring. I am always available when my friends, or even strangers, need help. I hope that I am a good person for someone to talk to as I am open-minded enough to never judge someone for their misfortunes or wrong doings. This brings me to the other trait I relate to most, which is open-minded. I believe that I am able to understand most people’s point of view in situations even if they seem to be in the wrong. Two other traits I relate to very much, however not as much as the aforementioned traits, are knowledgeable and risk-taker. I am knowledgeable not only in the sense that I am intelligent but also that I am on a journey of seeking higher knowledge and the secrets the world has to offer me. Knowledgeable can help me in my area of risk-taking by allowing me to not take risks that will produce a dangerous outcome. I am a risk-taker in my personal life more than my educational one because I find joy in new experiences and enjoy being adventurous and taking risks. The traits that I particularly relate to are balanced, a thinker, and reflective. I view myself as a thinker due to the immense amount of time I spend pondering the spiritual aspect of life. Although I would possibly describe myself as a thinker, I would have a harder time describing myself as reflective because I prefer to live in the now and not reflect back onto my sad past. Balanced is a trait that I see in myself but I also me failing at being balanced always. I tend to balance time between friends poorly, however not by intention. Also, I need to work on balancing my time spent on projects and assignments in school. The traits on the list I relate to the least are principled, inquirer, and communicator. Although I am principled, I find myself being more open to ideas and possibilities, that some people believe are wrong. I am not as stubborn as many principled people are, my opinion is
I have a job as a hostess at a local Duluth restaurant. As a hostess I am required to greet, accommodate needs of customers, and provide customer service. I am constantly having conversations. Some are problem solving conversations and I must find a solution and assist the customer. Other times I am creating a friendly environment by engaging in small talk where I enjoy making someone’s day by smiling and being friendly. Being a hostess can bring up problems within the topic of flexibility. Small talk is an everyday conversation. It is “pervasive, non-controversial and often serves as a polite way of introducing one’s self or topic” as defined in the textbook. Small talk is just one example where flexibility plays a role in conversations I carry out. At the end of the day it is the flexibility within the conversations I engage in and the way I talk through and solve problems that show what kind of a communicator I am.
am ambitious, I am caring, I am loving, I am funny, I am confident, and most importantly, I am
In examining the qualities, I can say I possess more than one. However, the one I chose is intellectual
If you were to ask a friend or family member to describe me, they would probably say that I am hard working, outgoing, an outdoorsman, and an overall amazing friend. Ever since I was a little kid, I have always been a hard worker. For example, I would always go above and beyond what was required for a project that was due in grade school. Whether it was a diorama, and a report about iguanas, or a poster on Jackie Robinson, I would always put way more work into the project thatn was actually needed. This work ethic has stuck with me all the way into college, and I consider my work ethicit to be one of my best qualities. The second word someone would use to describe me would be outgoing, which is funny since while I consider myself to be outgoing
I have met many people so far in this life, but the person I enjoy remembering the most is my husband Jeff. He was born and raised in Tennessee. He is six feet tall, weighs two hundred sixty seven pounds,he has dark brown eyes, and such a nice smile. His hair is jet black with just a few silver and white strands throughout. He is a very big and strong character of a man. And yet he is the most gentle, kind and caring man that I have ever met. Jeff has a sexy southern drawl to his voice. The one person who has influenced my life greatly is my husband, the first reason being because of his positive attitude, his intelligence, and the way he expresses his love.
When I was young, I drew a picture of my mother. It was her standing in a yard with a house in the background. It wasn't our house, and my mother looked like anyone but herself. Dressed entirely in green, with green hair and a green expression on her green face, she stood in front of a green two-story house surrounded by a green landscape. Green was her favorite color, and I wanted to make a surprise out of the drawing for her.
The process of knowing and understanding your true self can feel like a marathon. Often hearing the phrase “discovery of self” causes me to hurl because of the saturation of its use making the phrase an absolute cliché. Although it may seem Meaningless at times, the cliché’s original meaning has gained a new importance in my life now that I am transitioning into a position of independence. Knowing myself does not seem to be a Herculean task, but I find myself at age seventeen and I have only seen a glimmer of my inner thoughts and nature. The effortless thing to do is to follow the crowd and be pushed into a position of who your peers assume you are allowing no room for growth. The further I progress in life I find myself more influenced by my peers and forced to abide by social conventions never allowing me to be myself. Through this time of adversity my true self can emerge, and it is evident I am a sage, seeker, and creator.
