String theory is defined by Merriam-Webster as, “A physical theory in which one-dimensional loops travel through space and also merge and lyse as time elapses. This is in contrast to ordinary quantum field theory, which predicts point particles that emit and absorb each other. String theory is a candidate for a Theory of Everything.” String theory would solve the long fight between Einstein’s theory of relativity and Quantum Physics.
String theory proclaims that everything in our universe, from stars and suns to apples and atoms, is made up of incredibly small particles called strings. Strings are so small, that if an atom were the size of our solar system, a string would be the size of a tree.
There are six different string theories. Each is classified by a type; Bosonic, IIA, HO, HE… Each has its own way of explaining what strings are, and how the make up our regular life objects. But each theory uses the basic structure illustrated by the picture at right.

The string theory was developed by Michio Kaku and other physicists in the 1970s. It’s notably one of the first theory of physics to be developed to try to explain the theory of everything and answer all the questions we don’t have answers to right now. It would help us gain an understanding of how our world was created and what will happen to our world in the future. It also would help us understand how the forces and the matters in the world work together and if any of the other worlds or universes are different from our world and universe. Fiero explains:

The theory of quantum mechanics has divided the atom into a number of fundamental sub-atomic particles. Although the physicist has shown that the atom is not a solid indivisible object, he has not been able to find a particle which does possess those qualities. Talk of particles, though, is misleading because the word suggests a material object. This is not the intention for the use of the word in quantum physics. Quantum particles are, instead, representations of the actions and reactions of forces at the sub-atomic level. In fact, physicists are less concerned with the search for a material particle underlying all physical objects and more interested in explaining how nature works. Quantum theory is the means that enables the physicist to express those explanations in a scientific way.
The Periodic Table is based around the Atomic Theory. Firstly people believed that everything was made up the four elements Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. This theory evolved into everything being made up of atoms. The term theory can be seen as a collection of laws which allow you to show some kind of phenomenon. The strength of a scientific theory associated with the diversity of phenomena can explain its elegance and simplicity. However when new evidence is gathered a scientific theory can be changed or even rejected if it does not fit the new findings, in such cases a more accurate theory is formed. Sometimes there are theories that have to do with machines that do not exist and usually have things in them that are infinite and they usually work with letters and numbers.
Sir Isaac Newton held the theory that light was made up of tiny particles. Before, most theories of light had an unexplainable phenomenon. Einstein had suggested that tiny particles which have energy, called protons, formes into light. This suggestion was made when he proposed a solution to the problems of observations discovered on the actions of light having the characteristics of both wave and particle theory.
