Stress is a physiological and psychological response experienced on encountering a threat that we feel we do not have the resources to deal with. Responses to stress include adaptation, psychological coping such as stress management, anxiety, and depression. Over the long term, distress can lead to diminished health and/or increased propensity to illness; if we want to avoid this problem, stress must be managed by a good method. A stressful situation — whether something environmental, such as a work deadline, or psychological, such as persistent worry about losing a job that also can trigger a cascade of stress hormones that produce physiological changes. Stress also becomes harmful when people use alcohol, tobacco, or drugs to try to relieve their stress. Unfortunately, instead of relieving the stress and returning the body to a relaxed state, these substances tend to keep the body in a stressed state and cause more problems. The best way to manage your stress is to learn healthy coping strategies. Firstly, you should find the ways to relax your mind- such as write. It may help to write about things that are bothering you. Write for 10 to 15 minutes daily about stressful events and how they made you feel. Or think about tracking your stress. This helps you find out what is causing your stress and how much stress you feel. After you know, you can find better ways to cope.
