To start off I, along with everybody else has many personal strengths. We all have great things about us even if we have not found them yet. We are all special because we are creations of God and God alone. God has blessed me with my strengths. A few are being a hunter, a good friend, and a talented gear head (great with cars). We all have different and have different strengths, and that’s what makes us be us. This is a hard topic to talk about but this is where we find what is special about us. This topic means a lot. So let’s talk about some of the strengths that the Lord has given to me. First of all, hunting is one of my strengths. One of the things that makes me a good hunter is that i am a good marksman. The world is improving every second of the day. Our culture has upgraded since the time of the Native Americans. Hunting has modernized because of the advancement of technology and weaponry. Hunting has fed our families from the dawn of time. The innovation of hunting has been restructuring from the natives to modern day USA.
Hunting can be an extremely fun activity. It can also be very relaxing. Hunting is a good use of time. The change that settled agricultural existence with peoples need to catch food to survive along with most peoples love of hunting, will hopefully continue into further generations. Hunting offers excitement, tested strength, and also courage ("Longbows") Aboriginal people hunted and trapped animals for uses like shelter, food, clothing or tools. They also traded, trading of pelts dates back to the mid 1600’s in western Canada. In the late sixteenth century Aboriginal trappers accepted European iron traps. By the mid-1770s fur trade competition was building ("History of Hunting and Trapping"). In the fourteenth century firearms appeared in Europe, the inaccuracy of the early guns along with the noise and smoke they produced would have made them less useful than bows or crossbows as hunting weapons. Guns were restricted to use for only bird hunting until the end of the seventeenth century. Around the 1700’s flint lock guns were designed to shoot birds on the wing. ("Firearms”).
As far as strengths are concerned, I am respectful of others and their feelings, self-disciplined, considerate, appreciative, and goal-oriented. Also, I sincerely believe in the commandments and moral standards set forth in the Scriptures and try to live accordingly, which I hope makes me a Godly example to my peers. I wish to become even more Christlike and grow to be a man of unquestionable integrity. My weaknesses include difficulty expressing my emotions and a tendency to be a little self-conscious.
From the perspective of economy, ecology, and environmental conservation, hunting is very important. Hunting is necessary to protect agriculture and the environment from animal pest or overpopulation. For example, wild boars tear up many farmers land causing many problems as well with the deer population growing eating away farmer’s resources. Also with the growth of white tail deer are damaging every landscape east of the Mississippi river. Unfortunately, the harm is very overlooked, and accepted as somehow “natural”. Over the last 30 years higher dear populations have made a more negative impact due to climate change. Hunting is a really old thing people do to feed their selves. It can be a fun sport for people who have spare time and get bored. If you hunt, there are only certain animals you can kill. People can kill deer, duck, elk, and squirrel. They can also feed yourself by catching fish like catfish, big mouth bass, small mouth bass, and bluegill. When people hunt, you have to get your licenses. Your licenses cost $15.00 for 1 day and that isn’t including deer, elk, turkey, or bear. If you want a 7 day licenses including everything, it costs $50.00. If you are 12-15 years old it costs $10.00, which is the youth hunting. (License and Permit Fees, 1). You also have to take a hunters safety course which is for 1 week during the summer, it costs $13.00
As a result of human activity, there has been a lot of evolution and growth in society and on this planet, human beings have evolved and grown, we have evolved our way of life, our way of thinking and simply our way of being. From technology, medicine, education and just the amount of opportunities we all have. This new society we have created is certainly more enhanced than that of the past. Be that as it may, there is one piece, one act that some human cannot seem to leave in the past. Hunting, even though most would view it as truly unnecessary, there are those who continue to participate.
One of my greatest strengths at work that I have recognized would have to be my ability to be a well-organized individual. I tend to write what I have to do down on paper and prioritize what is more important to least important. In doing this, it helps me organize and accomplish my work and meet deadlines that are important. A personal strength that I have at home is patience. I am a mother of a beautiful three year old little girl who is a handful. Patience is my greatest strength as a parent and individual which I possess especially being a single mother. I am a dedicated and hard working mother and I always make sure that my daughter gets the love and attention she needs.
People think hunting is barbaric and inhumane, but it helps keep the environment strong, keeps the animal populations at a healthy level, and is good for the people who hunt them. Hunting is practiced all over the world and has been for thousands of years. People oppose hunting simply because they see it as black-hearted or immoral. They do not see the rich qualities that come with hunting. If only they open their eyes to the wonderful qualities hunting provides, then they could see the good hunting does in this world.
When a Minnesota dentist killed a prized African lion named "Cecil" he received an onslaught of criticism and reignited the debate concerning hunting. To many people, hunting is a cruel and inhuman act. For others, hunting is a sport and a way of life. Is hunting ethical? Should hunting be allowed to continue? First off, what is hunting? According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, hunting is a “sport that involves the seeking, pursuing, and killing of wild animals and birds, called game and game birds, primarily in modern times with firearms but also with bow and arrow” (“hunting”). It is my firm belief that most hunting should most definitely be allowed to continue and they should also be supported.

I am going to classify the four types of hunting: shotgun, rifle and archery. The reason I am classified this is because most people just think of hunting as a means of enjoyment.
