What is cloud storage?
Simple terms, it's a storage that can access anywhere. By storing your files on-line and accessing it anywhere while using your laptop, mobile device or another PC.
It’s offered a faster, easier and safer backup than conventional methods of file storage such as bookshelves or cardboard files.
Cloud storage support both personal and business uses. By this, you can access your files and programs from any computer anywhere in the world, with an Internet connection.
Cloud storage needs hosting companies to operate a large data centers, and people who require their data to be hosted a data storage capacity from them.
That can be access using public network or WAN (Wide Area Network).
How it cloud storage works?
In modern technology, the number of files and document are keep growing until no space to store.
That’s the idea cloud storage came out. Cloud storage works with a combination of an on-line backup or storage service and cloud computing for data management. All the information that received from user is located in the server which means some other people called as a data center.
Data centers can be located anywhere in the world that depending on your storage provider. The provider responsible to take care the security and privacy of your data by using encrypting the data.
Cloud storage can serve to protect your files and data from computer failure, theft or any other type. Having your data on-line also give you ability to share some or all to friends, family, or co-workers.
Who is using it?
Either individuals or businesses, those use public or private cloud storage.
Can backup your information data and files. If ...

From that’s its can really comes down to what you need. If you need to share small files such as text files and spreadsheets, cloud storage will be very beneficial. Connection speed is not an issue and almost anyone has easy access to the files.
But on the other hand, if you like to use your cloud storage for files that store a hundreds of megabytes or even gigabytes in size, it's quite troublesome to download that huge file and shared it to others. The user may have very slow connection, which makes it quite difficult to download huge files. From here on, we just have to wait and see the future. Who knows? As internet connections become more faster and faster and as more companies offer cloud storage service, we may see huge improvements in the future.
The idea of accessing, storing, and processing data from online server or virtual server instead of local server is called as Cloud computing. When we store data in our hard disk which is very near to computer that is called as local storage and computing but Cloud computing doesn’t access data from our hard disk.
This essay discusses regulation that rules cloud provider to protect privacy of data citizens within country. This essay will describe about what cloud services and its wide range of service In the second section, it will explain more about the security threat of cloud services and going more specific into privacy issue. The next section, I will discuss about the extent of technical regulation that porposed from case given by taking model from exist country regulation. In the Fourth section, this essay will discuss about evaluation and another policy as alternative of the previous policy. Finally, this essay will be closed by suggestion and conclusion about what regulation that should be purposed regarding to protect privacy citizens’ data stored in cloud.
Cloud storage can be used for many different functions by an individual or company. No matter which type of storage you pick (Public, Private or Hybrid), there is the option to increase the storage area of you own servers by putting the majority of your data into a Cloud Storage provider. This will make a large amount of space on your servers you might need to update your current applications or software.

So, cloud storage is not just great as a walking hard disk, but also a great online backup to you.
The main driving forces of cloud data storage are reputable companies such as Amazon and Google building comprehensive computing infrastructures (Google, 2009). These infrastructures are removing the complexity of in-house data storage and ultimately reducing costs of limited networked data centres (Hitachi, 2010). The traditional inefficient model of purchasing servers every time you need to accommodate for high use or growth is now being replaced by internet based systems that replicate your data centres but without the big overheads (Google, 2009). This flexibility assists in the ever changing business world and its continuous improvement initiatives to remove waste, improve efficiency, and ultimately reduce costs. Another key driving force is the support for effective business continuity which will remove again the hardware costs and the strain on risk assessment and management. Removing this hassle can free up valuable time for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Information Technology (IT) department to implement IT and Information Management (IM) efficiently and in due course reduce cost. Werner Vogles of Amazon of Web Services (Twitter) supports the idea of less hardware because if you have to buy more hardware to initiate this cloud movement it is not a cloud. This further supports the need to shed the old procedures of having in-house hardware and data storage and instil efficacy.
The word cloud is used as a metaphor for the Internet, based on the standardized use of a cloud-like shape to denote a network. A cloud is a combination of hardware, networks, storage, services, and interfaces that helps in delivering computing as a service. Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. In addition, the platform provides on demand services to the users for accessing that are always on anywhere, anytime and any place. Cloud computing platform provides the scalability, availability and utility computing for services on Internet.
Personal cloud storage (PCS) is an a web service of online that provides server space for individuals to store others files, data, video and photos. It is a content of digital sources and services which are accessible from any device. The personal cloud is not a tangible entity. It is a place which gives users the ability to store, synchronize, stream and share content on a relative core, moving from one platform, screen and location to another. Created on connected services and applications, it reflects and sets consumer expectation for how next-generation computing services will work. There are four primary types of personal cloud that has been used today like Online cloud, NAS device cloud, server device cloud, and home-made clouds. [1]
In the 1950s Cloud computing started with mainframe computing, where multiple users were able to access a central computer by using a dumb terminal, which had only one function, and that was to provide access to the mainframe. In the 1970s, the concept of virtual machines was created, by using the virtual machine technology it was possible to used more than one operating system simultaneously in a secluded environment. In 1993 cloud computing reached its first milestone with e-mail, which is a method of exchanging information/ data or digital messages through a computer network of the internet. Emails were originally a text based form of communication only, these days’ files like multimedia, images or PDFs can be attached. Today, cloud computing is a part of our everyday lives, we still use it to email, and now we use a more perfected cloud system to store applications or files and can access them anywhere and anytime.
The Cloud is the inclusive term for a virtualized information technology computing environment, it began in the 1950s and has evolved itself into every organization. Cloud computing is very effect with individuals and businesses work, whether it be for data maintained or stored. The web-based environment make it more effective, rather than physically located in a user’s location. Whether it be infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, or software as a service, the cloud does have its benefits, just as well as its risks. Educating and understanding the possibilities and threats that comes with the power of this technology is important. Cloud computing is a representation convenient, on-demand network access to a shared computing resources. The possibilities are endless!
The term "the cloud" is essentially a metaphor for the Internet] Marketers have further popularized the phrase "in the cloud" to refer to software, platforms and infrastructure that are sold "as a service", i.e. remotely through the Internet. Typically, the seller has actual energy-consuming servers which host products and services from a remote location, so end-users don't have to; they can simply log on to the network without installing anything. The major models of cloud computing service are known as software as a service, platform as a service, and infrastructure as a service. These cloud services may be offered in a public, private or hybrid network. Google, Amazon, IBM, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, Zoho and Microsoft Azure are some well-known cloud vendors.
5. effective global workforce. Cloud computing can be bring out with variety of data centers around the world, make sure that services are close to users. Provide better performance and appropriate
One might ask how does cloud computing work? Cloud computing architecture refers to the components that work together to form cloud computing. The architecture behind cloud computing involves two different parts, the front end and the back end. Each part connects through the internet and works together. The front end structure is also referred to as the clients. This is the part or side of the server that the user interacts with and sees. For the user to connect and interact with this end, they need to have access to a computer with internet. An example of the front end structure being used is a user logging on the internet to check their email. Again, millions of people check their email every day and do not realize it is part of cloud computing. The other part of cloud computing architecture is called the back end structure. This part is responsible for the service that make the cloud work. It comprises of huge data storage, virtual machines, security mechanism, services, deployment models, servers, etc. () The back end service is made up of Software as a Service (SaaS), Platf...
Cloud storage required hosting companies to operate a large data centers, and people who require their data to be hosted buy or lease storage capacity from them.
In cloud computing, the word cloud is used as a metaphor for “the internet”. So the cloud computing means “a type of internet-based computing”, where different services such as servers, storage and applications are delivered to an organization’s computers and devices through the internet.
