Stevie Wonder was just a ordinary blind boy. But once he realized his strong love for music was a true feeling he knew he would become an amazing artist . To this day he is known as one of the most famous piano and singers in the world. Despite the fact that Stevie Wonder was blind he overcame his obstacle and became an amazing musician. Stevie Wonder had a hard start to his life. He was born on May,13 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. When he was born he became blind as the result of too much oxygen in the incubator as a premature baby (Bio) . Fast forwarding to when he was 4 years old he moved to Detroit, Michigan. When it was time to attend school he went to public school even though it was a poor school it had good teachers that helped the handicap. He also went to special classes to learn braille and speech (Beyer 18). When he was 5 years old his mother Lulu gave him his first instrument which was cardboard drums (Beyer 20).Then he started to learn how to play the harmonica and then at age 6 he learned to play the piano (Bio).
