If they give you a monologue to memorize don't wait last minute to memorize it because then it going to be a struggle.there are many different ways to memorize your line by you go over it many times,you recording yourself and then listen to it, right it down on a paper to see how far you got the monologue down.the frist you do is memorize because then you just get it over with because then you can work on other stuff like the blocking stuff and costume and any other stuff involving on the thing you have to do.now in thather you have to project your voice beacuse you want pepole to hear you loud and clear so if they something important you have to give out to the auddions.
