An autocratic leadership simply means that only one person is in charge. Many team members did not influence his decisions. His peers hardly ever challenged Job’s decisions making. Steve Jobs was the main person in charge of decision-making and typically made decisions based on his ideas rather than solid evidence. Some words used to describe Steve were impatient, stubborn, and hypercritical, if not downright cruel at times. While this style of leadership may seem harsh to some it has opened a door to success for Steve Jobs. Through his innovative ideas, Jobs has created one of the most successful tech companies on the globe. Though his attitude and leadership style may have come off as cocky to some, his dedication to innovation and design has surely benefited his company and consumers all over the world.

Jobs understood the importance of taking risks and could be considered one of the biggest risk taking leaders in the world. Steve Jobs was far from perfect on any aspect. He made mistakes along his journey but he always was the first to learn from them and adapt in a way so he could succeed. Jobs’ leadership style was complex.
