The deadliest school shooting to have ever happened in the United States at a high school or grade school, happened less than two years ago. On December 14th, 2012, Adam Lanza, who was twenty years old at the time, shot his mother, Nancy Lanza, four times and then brought firearms to his former grade school Sandy Hook Elementary, and fatally shot twenty children and six adults. Then the shooter put his own gun to his head and fatally shot himself. All of the children were between the ages of six and seven years old, and all six adults who were shot and killed were females who worked at the school. Lanza's father believed that if he were there himself, his son would have had no trouble shooting and killing him too.
There is little information right now, even still, after the mass shooting in Las Vegas. An older man named Stephen Paddock fired into a large crowd of people attending a country music concert on October 1, 2017. 58 people enjoying a concert on a Sunday evening lost their lives and hundreds more were injured. Nearly a month later and authorities are still at a loss when it comes to finding Stephen Paddock’s motive for this mass shooting. However, there are many theories circulating. I personally feel Stephen Paddock was an isolated man who had a warped view on the community, and one day decided something needed to change and he was going to plan a way to do it.
KRON reports Neal's bullets hit 14 people during his rampage, killing four people and injuring the others, including one student at the school before he was killed in a shootout with police after his 45-minute shooting spree.

While it is the year 1928, James J. Braddock is at the peak of his career: he makes over $8,000 per fight. He isn’t considered a good boxer; he is one of the greats. After 5 years pass, James goes from making $8,000 a fight to $50, losing money. Money is tight and food is scarce in James’ household now. Claiming he isn’t hungry, James, being considerate of his daughter’s needs, gives her his dinner. But he shouldn’t fight without eating. James goes to his fight with an injured hand and an empty stomach. James loses the fight, and he isn’t given the $50 he was promised. After the fight is over, he is told that the fight was pathetic, and his boxing license is revoked. Much later, James’ manager gets him a fight against Griffin. James wins,
The noises of the gun came with waves of bullets that rained on the innocent people. The Las Vegas Shooting is the worst mass shooting in modern American history. It was all caused by Stephen Paddock, who killed 58 people and injured over 800 people. The Las Vegas Shooting happened because of a man with a odd history. Some people wonder how he got all of the guns and planned the attack.
First of all, Dred Scott was a slave in the 1800s and not like the other slaves. Instead of trying to escape, he worked twice as hard! Of course he dreamed of being free, but not from escaping, but by legal rights. Dred scott was a brave man for suing for his rights, one of the first!

Two of these students were transported to the hospital and the third was only grazed by the bullet.
After a long day of work, all I wanted to do was sleep. I had paid five cents to spend the night, and I intended to make good use of it. I was resting in the Bayard Street tenement in the year 1889. I was willing to endure the crowded, unsanitary, and non-private room because it was all I could afford; you do what you can to survive. The six other single men, beat from a long day of back-breaking work, were already sleeping or resting against the wall. The lack of bunks meant that I would be sleeping on the floor. I am lucky. A room down the hall had twelve men and a woman occupying it. I am even more better off than the homeless children forced to live on the streets and in alleys. All of our possessions and our bodies themselves made the
Only a few days ago, an incident occurred where there was shooting in Las Vegas near an open area across the Las Vegas Strip from the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino. The gunman open fired at a festival and at least 59 people died including him and about 527 were injured. The latest information about the shooter is that he is a 64 year old resident of Mesquite, Nevada named Stephen Craig Paddock. I think that the incident was uncanny because, what would a 64 year old man want by killing hundreds of people. From the information gathered by the police, the man fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. At least 23 weapons were found in his room. Authorities also searched his room and found even more weapons such as rifles and bombs. “The
The person I chose for my project was Cole Sundt. The reason I chose him for my project was because of my close relationship with his dad. During football season I was very close to Coach Sundt and would always talk to him before and after practice. My family grew up knowing his family but I wasn't close with Cole really. It wasn’t up until football that me and Cole started to talk a little. I have always kind of knew him in a sense that i see him hanging with my cousins but I've never been close with him. I choose Cole because I feel like i can connect with him very well considering we have a lot of mutual friends and i have a lot of family members close with him and his family. This made me want to choose him as my person for the project.
Life changing disabilities can be either a singular condition, or a combination of conditions, that can drastically change the course of an individual’s life. In most cases because we are not an island, this disability can make stronger bonds within the family, or break-up a good family foundation. These disabilities can be anything from a physical impairment to mental or intellectual issues. This can touch all members of the family, including the extended family members as well as the community.
The class didn't know if they would make it out of the building that day until a SWAT team member came into their classroom. The police identified the gunman as Nikolas Cruz, a 19-year old former pupil of the school expelled a year ago for disciplinary problems. He was described as a strange kid who liked guns. Unlike many mass shooters, Mr Cruz did not intend to die. He slipped out of the school by blending in with evacuating pupils. Police caught him in a nearby town soon after the shooting. (Blad, Evie. 5 people died in the shooting, 10 were injured. The shooters were Mitchell Johnson, 13, and his friend Andrew Golden, 11. Once I found this out, I started to have a different mindset. I kept researching and found more information about the shooters. Both of the boys had been raised around guns. They belonged to gun clubs and even participated in practical shooting competitions, which involve firing at simulated moving human targets. Golden reportedly shot several dogs in preparation for the actual shooting(ANIMAL ABUSE!!!). When they got caught, in their possession were thirteen fully loaded firearms, including three semi-automatic rifles, and 200 rounds of ammunition. They also had a stolen van filled with ammunition, 3 semi-automatic rifles, a crossbow, and some hunting knives, which by the way all of the weapons were taken from the Golden family’s personal arsenal. Woah, wait a second, those guys are way too young to use guns, cause a school shooting and have a van filled with hunting weapons. These boys are downright crazy!!! But there needs to be a reason why they cause this monstrosity and what motivated them to do it, and only thing revealed was a possible motivation; a famous first-person shooter video game called Doom. In Doom, you control Doomguy (the main character of the game) and the crux of Doom is to complete missions by killing demonic monsters that lurk within dark corridors. If you’ve never seen or played the game or not, you should know it’s rather gory and violent. Now, back the shooters, why did they do it? They maybe wanted to mimic the game in real life or they just hated their school and wanted everyone dead. I don’t know, those are just theories of mine. The reason for the shooting is unknown. “We don’t know much, but I’ll tell you what we do know so far. The victim is 22 year-old Brandon McNeely, a student at the nearby university. It looks like he was walking home from the local bar and used the alley as a shortcut. That’s when he was shot by an unknown person. His body was discovered at 6:30 this morning and we believe that he died around 3:00. The forensics report says that he was shot with a 9 millimeter hollow point bullet with 115 grain powder. The bullet passed through his sternum and into his heart. He died
