My passion for science and craze towards technology inspired me to take up engineering. I chose to major in Electronics and communication engineering with a great desire to contribute to this demanding field. During my under graduate study I learned the fundamentals of Electronics Engineering which together with practical course work strengthened my interest.

Right from my school, I was focused towards Mathematics, Science and research in general. Due to the same reason, I took up Physics, chemistry, Mathematics and Electronics as my major subjects in pre-university. As a part of my electronics laboratory, I had constructed logic gates and simple latches using basic circuit elements. I was so amazed by the Power of Electronics which prompted me to take Electronic and communication engineering as my under-graduate major. My natural strength has been my quantitative and analytical abilities. My rank was 3237 among more than one lakh students who took engineering entrance examination. This performance helped me in getting admission into Dayananda Sagar College of engineering, Bangalore, India.

During the course of my under-graduate study I was exposed to various courses with applications. My favourite subjects are analog electronic circuits, logic design and microelectronic circuits since they deal with the basics of electronics on which the whole field depends on. It was really challenging in the beginning to understand these basics. Once I got the hold of it, I enjoyed it and even the advanced subjects like image processing and digital signal processing were easy to me. The most favourite subject of all is the VLSI; I am very interested in FRONT END DESIGN in particular. I believe VLSI is the reason for modern day computers ...

... reason why I aspire to study in USA is because, it is the most advanced country in the field of electronics and also it provides the kind of exposure needed to broaden my thinking. Your country is an assemblage of people from every nationality, religion and race. The proper exposure is attained and overall development of personality is cultivated.

There is no end for education and I believe that it is a lifelong process. Hence I wish to pursue a doctoral degree after my master’s study and therefore combine research and teaching as my career. I am completely aware about the dedication your curriculum requires and I assure that I have the necessary commitment, intelligence and stamina to look forward to doing it. I look forward to having a long and profitable association with your esteemed institution. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to express myself.
