Coming from a time where black and white televisions and huge telephone boxes were a boon to the age where the plasma, LED and LCD televisions and smart phones have become the norm of the day, electronics have always been a wonder to me. As a kid, being able to see objects on screen without any apparent action behind, talking on telephones and even further in time on wireless devices had always intrigued me and this very fact of transmission has always been a compelling factor in deciding my educational and career paths.
I am pursuing an inspiring four-year undergraduate course in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Malla Reddy Engineering College which is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. I would like to put to use this knowledge to do my Masters in Electrical Engineering, which would give me the leading edge in technology and exposure I require, by getting hands-on experience in real time applications accompanied by in-depth knowledge of the subject.
In the field of electronics and communications, the areas that interest me the most are communica...
Ever since my parents were born, technology was not advanced as it is today. However, they grew up as educated people without the need of outsource help, such as internet, while doing their assignments. As we are in the twenty first century, technology has become very important in everybody in any society. Television, tablets, and smartphones are now part of everyone’s life because of the entertainment they provide and usefulness of these devices in variety of ways. However, today’s lifestyle has forced almost every individual in any household to rely and enjoy the dependency on electronics where any individual noonday’s has at least two electronic devices, such as laptop, smart-phone, or tablet. Currently and as part of technology advancement,
The United States, as well as the world, is more and more dependent on electronics. Everything around us runs on electricity; from the cars we drive, our dependency on mobile electronics we use, all the way down to the cappuccino machines that make our favorite beverages. We love our electronics. Last year alone “retail sales of consumer electronics fell just short of $1 trillion in 2011,” reports John Laposky of TWICE magazine, and those sales “are predicted to hit $1.04 trillion in 201...
Technology has always been an area of interest for me, even from a young age I was fascinated with the products and devices that used various forms of technology. I can still remember the time my parents brought home the first cell phone that they ever purchased. It was a Motorola phone and was about the size of a brick, but it was one of the most interesting pieces of technology that I had ever seen. My parents had not purchased it for the technology alone, as it was meant to be a line of communication for my sister and me to get in contact with our mother in case of emergencies. My parents still have that cell phone and, one year I used it as part of a Halloween costume to the amazement and entertainment of my friends. It is
Living in America means that we have access to electronics and the internet to obtain knowledge. Not many people in other countries can use electricity and that is what really brings us together. Electronics can save someone’s life and they can also be very useful when we
Currently, our society is changing again with the onslaught of electric media, namely computers and the Internet. We must continue to analyze this technology with the realization that the medium is the message, or else we will never fully understand our culture or the effect of technology on it and on our lives.
Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
Being the top student in my secondary school (with 85.5%), I got admitted into Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at MIT, Ujjain. My curriculum enhanced my knowledge in Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, and Analytical and Industrial Instrumentation. Having a strong zeal towards Information System and Computer Programming, I have also learned different languages like C, C++, SQL and PL/SQL.
People travel miles in search of their true passion; some find them early in their life and I consider myself lucky enough to be one among them. I found my true calling at the age of 12 on a field trip to a milk factory. It seemed like the Disneyland of science with huge machineries, conveyer belts running all around, and instruments working about in their own rhythm with sheer intricacies and perfection. As a kid, I was eager to understand the mechanics behind this magical rhythm. The desire of gaining in-depth knowledge about Control System and Automation eventually led me to choose Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering as my undergraduate study.
At the dawn of the information age, to be young, as Wordsworth said in another context, is very heaven. Getting to know what goes inside computers, the engines of the Information Technology revolution, and knowing how to work with them enables one to understand the technology that makes it all possible. Understanding this, I chose to do my undergraduate study in Electronics and Communications engineering.

There are many things that impact people during their lives. One of the many things that impact the lives of people today is the modern day electronics. People depended on electronics for their everyday use, although only 50 years ago, they were just dreams people were hoping for. There are many electronics in the modern day, but some are used way more than others. The cell phone, computer, and tablet are some of the ones often used by adults. The ones that teenagers use the most is the cell phone, laptop, and game boxes such as the xbox.
Electrical engineering has always fascinated me. I was always keen to sort out the complexities of different system. My decision to choose field of electrical engineering was based on my passion and parent’s will. In early stages of my education, I started working hard to achieve my goal. My vision was to be a successful engineer to serve my community. When I used to study computer science, my interest developed in inventions and transformations. Technological innovations have led enormous changes in world and lifestyles. Recent developments in the world have changed the way of generating and using electrical power. I am satisfied with the current opportunities and with my profession. I am looking forward to work in a successful organization and play a significant role in taking it to higher rankings in the world. My interest started developing in the early stage of my life, when I studied about the invention of computers, moreover about its large size.
This perfectly holds true for me in the world of Computer Engineering where novel ideas are not a novelty. It is this novelty that entices me to this field and gives me a deep sense of professional pride. In this context, I would like to pursue my graduation in Computer Engineering, which not only supplements the knowledge that I possess but also provides a strong platform for my future career goals.
From my perspective, excellent electronic engineers are a group of gifted and imaginative talents who bravely explore and innovate, change the world with passion and innovation. I have always dreamed of becoming one of them. For realizing this dream, I started from China 's Jilin University and then joined The University of Manchester for BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering to take more advanced professional courses. In UoM, I managed to gain GPA of 4.0. Yet, my pursuit of the dream does not end there, since I plan to apply for M.S. program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Carnegie Mellon University, where I can receive the best education among the world.
Computer Science is the name of my degree choice. Once graduated, I intend on becoming an Information Technology Consultant. The position will be on a contract basis, i.e. I will only be employed by a company for a period of time, until a certain project is finished. If my help is still needed within the organization, then an extension maybe drawn. Otherwise I will move on and work with another organization. The role seems temporary; however the pay suffices for this. The main thing that is carried forward is my experience. Alongside experience, my communication with the other members of the organization is extremely important, as a lot of jobs in this industry are promoted via ‘word of mouth’. If I am an effective communicator, I will be able to get a lot of recommendations and will be successful in the industry. If I am not an effective communica...
