I, Likhitha, have been fascinated by the advancements in technology and innovations. Since my schooling, I have been inclined towards problem solving; this made me to opt for sciences – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in my high school education. Gradually I was introduced to one of the most ingenious human innovations: the computer. Soon I was attracted to the fact that it has a major role to play in the contemporary world. My interest in them propelled me to learn language packages like C, C++, J2SE and advanced Java, and also take up the courses on Oracle, MySQL, HTML and MATLAB. Hailing from a family with both the parents from teaching fraternity I was continuously motivated and encouraged to undergo education with full fervour and enthusiasm. Due to such favourable and promising conditions I could complete my school education with utmost zeal and an assiduous approach. I had the opportunity to learn the basics of Html, Ms Office etc. This paved the first step towards creation of my interest in the field of computer science. After my high school, I got admitted to Kasireddy Narayan Reddy College of Engineering & Research, Andhra Pradesh, India, one of the reputed colleges in the state. The excellent faculty and facilities have provided a strong base, which is why I could clear my B.Tech in First class. During these four years I gained knowledge on various subjects like Computer Networks, Data base Management System, Object Oriented Programming Language, Advanced Data Structure, Distributed Databases. Now I feel a need for expanding my knowledge on these subjects and further improving my skills in subjects like DBMS and Networking. Hence, I would like to pursue MS in Computer Science from your esteemed university. The ... ... middle of paper ... ... After going through your website and research pages of your professors, I reached the conclusion that this will be the ideal place to work towards the fulfillment of my goal. Moreover, I am confident that the education that I will receive will help me throughout my career. It is popularly said “Tiny drops make the mighty ocean”. But what if a drop is removed from the ocean? Quantitatively it might not affect the mighty ocean, but qualitatively the ocean is deficient of that very drop which was unique in its own way. Similarly my association with your revered University would be quantitatively analogous to that of a tiny drop in a mighty ocean, but can contribute qualitatively. I believe in the saying “Aspire, Soar and capture dreams”. I have aspired to be a part of your institution and soared hard for it. Now I eagerly await my dream of joining your university.
