I would like to become a Marriage and Family Therapist because of my previous experiences with volunteering for a non-profit organization and interning for counselors during my undergrad studies. During my junior year of undergrad in Psychology, I told my advisor I was interested in the area of counseling and becoming a therapist. My instructor told me some possible places where I could intern for that year. My first intern job was at a nearby elementary school with the school psychologist.
