Stargirl was not like everyone else in Mica High. She was a unique individual with no restrictions to her own identity. But when Leo stressed the fact that she was so different, she undertook the task to change herself, for Leo’s sake. Even though Leo was euphoric with the new Susan Caraway, her shunning was not ebbed. The change did nothing for stargirl but cripple her jovial personality. Stargirl shouldn’t have changed herself for someone else’s motive, but should’ve kept herself the way she was, as your own happiness should be put before others, and there’s always someone that stays by your side no matter the notions made of you. While Stargirl was masquerading as Susan Caraway, her happiness dwindled down to almost nothing. The night that her and Leo did homework together, Leo sneaked his way to check out her happy wagon, finding that it only had two stones in it, the lowest the wagon has ever had. The last time he had seen it, it had been at 18. Despite that her time with Leo had an affect on the balance of the happy wagon, Stargirl’s failed attempt at becoming popular made her emotionally unwell, throwing out stone after stone. …show more content…

Dori Dilson. When Stargirl’s reign evanesced, Dori was the only one who truly kept her close. She was invited to the oratorical contest by Susan, but declined the offer because she was not Stargirl, still she was the only student in the parking lot waiting for her return. After Stargirls transition back from Susan, they formed a group called the “Ukee Dooks” and performed in the courtyard at school.
