Starbucks was founded in 1987 with a modest nine-store operation in the Seattle, Washington. As of April of 2010 Starbucks had 8,812 company-owned stores and 7,852 licensed stores within 50 countries, and they also had an annual sales of 10 billion. Now something that stood out to me was the impact that took place in the fiscal years 2008-2009. The first set of numbers that I want to get into is the Net Revenues at Company-Operated Retail Stores followed by the Average Sales Revenues at Company Operated Retail Stores.
