Many individuals, on our planet, connect with their desirable faith and with their spiritual guidance, which religion can affect how humans treat our planet, and the action of environmental sustainability. One support of evidence is The Canticle of the Creatures, which is about how humans connect to God, or their religious beliefs. This source states, “All praise be yours, my Lord, through Brother Fire, through whom you brighten up the night. How beautiful is he, how cheerful! Full of power and strength” (St. Francis Assisi 1). In other words, St. Francis Assisi writes about how people are bless God’s creations, such as the beautiful night and how the night has power and strength. For those, who have spiritual connection with their religious belief, are going to accept religious beliefs’ creations on earth. This can also be interred to how to relationships with others, such as with spiritual guidance, humans on Earth, animals, etc. What I mean by this is how if one is spiritual connected, then one is going to connected with other forms of life on earth, even Mother Nature. St. Francis states,

Francis mentions teaching, or in this case authoritative teaching, does affect peoples’ decisions and how people are going to relate authoritative teaching to environmental sustainability. The pope states, “the development of the Church’s social teaching represents such a synthesis with regard to social issues; this teaching is called to be enriched by taking up new challenges” (Francis 46).
