I went to a college production, of the Spring Shorts play. This play took place at the Menifee Valley campus art theatre. There were many plays rolled into one throughout the production. I found each one to be unique, they did all came together as one cohesive whole. Each one described a new setting, and a new cast of characters in each one for the most part. I think the play was put together well, and you could tell that a lot of time went into the production. The environment was nice, it was all set up prior to the start of the show, and done very professionally. It was a packed house, and it seemed to be received well by all audience members.

Even though not always on the outside, you could really feel what the performers were trying to do, or say. They may not always be on point, and maybe not everything was done how they envisioned it maybe. But, they can all rest assured that we all got their points, they were trying to make. For example, I didn’t find myself applauding when nobody else was, or laughing when it wasn’t time to laugh. One memorable moment, was when I saw someone crying. I didn’t think in a college play I would find someone “actually” crying. Not to mention all that kissing as well. Never believed that would of happened in a college production as well. It was because there wasn’t a whole lot going on to begin with. I would expect people to be running around, or even reacting to the music, with singing, and/or dancing to a couple notes here, and there. I believe it was just used, as background music, or for ambience. This want a musical, and I didn’t really notice it too much during the play …show more content…

It had way more detail then I would have ever thought to be in a play of this size. Walls, were used in a way, that I wish I could do with some of the walls in my apartment. It would be lot bigger than just one room, I know that much at least. I was a little surprised to see the actors dressed as well as they were. I think that is what stood out the most to me. I just loved the way everyone was dressed, and it looked like everyone had an enjoyable time, playing dress up. Everyone was put together very well, and I think that they all had at least some say, in what they wore, because they seemed comfortable, even though I could tell that no detail was over looked. When it came to the way they dressed, and the way their wardrobe interacted with others in the play, I would give this aspect a ten. It just flowed well, and I think the wardrobe played the biggest part of this
