I have always had a passion for sports. That is why sports marketing is a perfect career for me. I have watched and participated in sports for all of my life. I continue to participate in them today because I find joy and relaxation in sports. I have also found other careers through research that I have conducted. The other careers that I have researched are very appealing. Although they are appealing, I am going to go with my passion and become a sports marketer. The other two careers that I researched were a lawyer and a physical education teacher. Both had good qualities, but neither equate to my love for sports. It is also well suited for someone who loves sports. The best sports marketers are enthusiastic and can deal with requests that come in from everywhere. Sports marketing is exciting and sports marketers often enjoy a busy and fulfilling career with high job satisfaction and earnings. The next career is a lawyer. The education needed to be a lawyer requires a lot of work and it is very lengthy. To become a lawyer, you need a doctoral or a professional degree. This takes an average of eight years to get. The education needed for a lawyer is a lot of work and is hard, but the salary is high. There are a lot of key skills needed to become a lawyer. The first is logical reasoning. Lawyers need to use logical and numerical facts to support their clients claims. The lawyer may need to use math skills and they may even need to solve practical problems. A lawyer also has to be persuasive. They have to persuade the judge and the court to rule in their favor. They first off need to have some athletic ability. Physical education teachers have to teach and play with their students. If they cannot perform the things that their students are doing then there is an issue. Another skill that a physical education teacher needs is patients. They may be teaching a class a brand new sport and the class may not understand it right away. They must be patient for the class to learn things even if it takes a while. The last skill that physical education teachers is creativity. They need to be able to create games and activities on their own and give the students new and exciting things to do. Next, the physical education teachers salary. On average a high school physical education teacher makes an annual average of $55,712. A elementary physical education teacher does not make as much, they only make an annual average of $53,430. The more credits you have the more money that you are going to get. For example, someone with a bachelor’s degree plus 60 credits makes about $3,000 more a year that someone who has a bachelor’s degree but only 30
