Introduction Sport clips are what you would call a spa for men and boys. Inside a sport clips there are sport playing on every television set, it is a fun, laid back environment not only for employees but also for clients, and every stylist is specialized and efficient in haircut for men and boys. They are a corporate franchise, they are also the only national hair care chain that is targeting the over 140,000,000 men and boys market. The purpose of writing this paper is to discuss the four managerial functions what they are and how they affect Sport Clips and how it is run on a daily basis. The four managerial functions of a business are planning, organizing, leading and controlling. They are committed to their values, standards and goals. Stylists and assistant managers or team leaders report to the general manager also known as the store manager, the general manager answers to the franchise owners as well as the regional or district leader, who then report to corporate, or known as headquarters. Store managers make a report of what they expect of their shop in the coming quarter, and then enlist the help of their assistant managers or team leaders to help ensure the stylists understand and that they reach the goals or at least make an effort to. Sport Clips job first and foremost is to give great haircuts and experiences to each and every client, build that relationship to ensure they bring their friends and family back with them; at Sport Clips they also want their stylists to make sure they are recommending the correct and most useful product to their clients.
