Everyone enjoys watching cartoons on television, but not many people think about the voice actors behind their favorite characters. Tom Kenny is one of these voice actors, most well known as the voice of Spongebob Squarepants. The reason why he was named “bubble boy” is because as soon as David was born he was placed into a sterile, bacteria free chamber to prevent him from dying. Although he lived all his love inside of such an environment this was only supposed to be a temporary solution before he could get a bone marrow transplant. He was born on August 4, 1901 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Louis’s father was a factory worker but wasn’t a big part of his life because he abandoned Louis and his family shortly after he was born.
