...B as a member of the 62nd Airlift Squadron I train all C-130 crew positions in visual low-level flight, formation, instrument flight rules, airdrop and air land procedures utilizing NVGs and several tactics techniques and procedures to aid in safe operation of the C-130 aircraft and its variants. When I arrived at the 62nd, I earned a student Flight Commander position. In which I am responsible for the training of student navigators desiring the same skills I once learned. Now I am teaching what I have learned and what others desire to become. With my guidance in the short amount of time that I have with students I affect all Major Commands by teaching C-130 airpower employment and training future airmen to fly the Mighty Hercules. My impact goes beyond squadron goals but rather affects the Air Forces ability to prosecute its current and future wars. Hooaah!
It will give me the tools to adapt to different situations and people. Over the next several years it will be imperative to focus on this. Seizing every opportunity to refine my approach will enhance the skills at my disposal to evaluate and assess diverse situations and individuals. I will be more cognizant of the needs of my peers and leadership, as well as any feedback they might offer.
I have asked myself, “Why do I want to be a military officer?” I want to be a military officer so I can be a role model to all Soldiers and civilians. To be an expert in a field of study, so that Soldiers approach me for advice and be a leader to look up to. An officer that knows right from wrong, willing to put the needs of their Soldiers before my own. Lead, mentor, and form young Soldiers to know what it is to be an American Soldier. To keep the traditions of being a military officer as it moves forward in our generation. This is why I want to be an officer in today’s military.

After completing his first block of driving time in this 24 hour period, the driver is about to take advantage of the sleeper berth on his truck. Since he is changing his duty status, he fills in the appropriate information in the log.
I have led, recognized and employed the strengths and talents of those Airmen entrusted to me. I have lead from the front only because I have earned the trust of those behind me. I believe in and embody our service's core values in my personal and professional lives. I am the 'Whole Airman' through excellent technical aptitudes, unrivaled commitment to duty and a genuine desire to improve our force. Time and time again, and without reservation, my family and I sacrificed our wants and time for the demands of my profession. My family and I fully understand what this transition entails and as an officer, I will be fully devoted to the duties and Airmen entrusted to me. As a prior-enlisted officer, I will empathize with my Airmen ensuring their contributions are recognized and further develop them in every facet that is our Air Force culture. Finally, as a commissioned Airman, I intend to serve long and decisively to honor those that have served before us, my family’s proud military heritage and my wife and daughter…who drive me to be successful and strive for every new
... much faster work pace environment. The position required me to attend many military courses and I’ve conducted real live missions and gained important tactical skills from each experiences. I would encourage any Chemical Operation Specialist in the Army to be a part of these units at some point in their career. Air Force Special Operations The United States of America is a powerful and well known force throughout the world. It has become a superpower of nations in just about three hundred years, being one of the newest nations in existence today. Its military reaches out into several countries in the globe and holds a presence as a peacekeeper and wielder of democracy. Of the US military’s five branches, the Air Force is the ruler of the skies, keeping control of the earth’s aerospace. Without the Air Force Special Operations, the military could not complete operations as effectively or efficiently as it potentially could.
Since December of 1941, there has been a new organization tasked by congress to train America’s youth, educate people on the aerospace community, and responding on a moment’s notice to help search for people and planes that go missing across the country. The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) acts as a volunteer auxiliary of the United States Air Force and stands as one of the four components that make up the United States Air Force’s Total Force. Although every aspect of the organization presents extraordinary merit, one stands especially important to the advancement of America: The Cadet Program. Made up of the youth of America, the cadet program strengthens leadership, character, friendship, and bonds. It helps the next generation of leaders evolve
Everything from this program will enable us to transition into the workforce with an upper hand from other universities, on top of hard work ethic, I believe not only can I be the best at what I do, but assist becoming the best as well. My third and final circle, economic engine. Pursuing a career as a landman has so many rewards and benefits. Unquestionably it fueled my economic engine as a career path. Having a Hedgehog Concept is an important step in going from good to great;
Summary them briefly: “I have a unique combination of strong technical skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. This allows me to utilize my skills and break down information to be easier to understand." 8. What Are Three Positive Things Your Last Boss Would Say About You?
You work hard and have your sights set on moving up. Attending an advanced training will help you gain skills necessary to vie for a promotion. Consider what the organization needs and how this training is complimentary. Be sure to consider how you will cover your responsibilities, while away at training. Writing a request letter to a boss for advanced training is an effective way of signaling your interest in professional improvement.
In summary, my Air Force story highlights my journey to becoming an officer in the USAF. It takes into account my Puerto Rican heritage and values and advocates the benefits of maintaining a diverse workforce. My role as a Force Support officer has placed me in situations and enabled the experiences which have shaped my understanding of the profession of arms and better developed me as a leader. Lastly, my contributions to the Air Force mission, at home station or in the area of operations (AOR), have facilitated Airmen at all levels (Tactical, Operational, Strategic) within our Air Force and enabled them to make informed decisions affecting their careers and quality of life.
