Most people think that the U.S. has not gotten anywhere in the past few years, and that's definitely not going to change unless there is a different president with innovative ideas. Putting a wall up and not letting immigrants in at all isn't going to cut it though. The United States need a president with different thoughts. Sonia Sotomayor would make a fantastic president because she has determination, respect, and integrity, which she could use to fix America's education and immigration systems and make the U.S. a more respected nation. A fantastic president would always be trying to come up with new ideas that won't affect people in a bad way. They would need to be great public speakers, honest, powerful, persuasive, and respectful. Most importantly though, they need to be able to lead their country through the specific problems facing them She believes that everyone is equal and should also have equal opportunities. She stated that "Until we get equality in education, we won't have an equal society." She also feels that anyone is capable of doing what they set their mind too. "I do believe that every person has an equal opportunity to be a good and wise judge, regardless of their background or life experiences." she stated. Respect helps a leader to make more choices that won't badly affect certain people. Sonia Sotomayor has integrity. She believes in doing the right thing and being honest. While, talking about her book, My Beloved World, she stated " If I write a book where all I've ever experienced is success, people won't take a positive lesson from it. In being candid, I have to own up to my failures, both in my marriage and in my work environment." She didn't want people to have an unreal image of her, so she wrote a book that revealed her flaws and failures. It made her seem more like an ordinary person, which is what she wanted.
