Humans, as a society, are surrounded by the areas of knowledge which surrounds society and develop intelligence. Invention is a result of human intelligence but discovery is unleashing what already exists. Areas of knowledge consist of many ideas. These areas are either invented or discovered. Invention and discovery formulate the different areas of knowledge. Discovered areas of knowledge include science, history and mathematics. Invented area of knowledge is the arts.
Discovery proves the existence of some areas of knowledge. Discovery refers to unearthing and reasoning something. To discover means; “gain sight or knowledge previously unseen” This therefore explains why it tends to be unseen then therefore it’s revealed. It includes a process of unraveling information from the past or existing making it concrete. Discovery is to bring something into a light. Discovery includes nature because it exists and was brought into light. This includes science and history because was unearthed and put on paper.
To Invent is to fabricate or create from the mind. Fabricated area of knowledge is the arts. This area of knowledge is invented because the arts are crated from a personal view and truth of the creator. Invention also shows how it mentally fabricated and can be subjective. Invention can be as abstract and creative as art.Invention shows one owns truth and artificial. art is a unique object produced through the process of imagination and experience.
Natural science is a discovered area of knowledge. Natural science is discovered due to the fact that it’s not created and has always existed. Natural science and its laws existed with the dawn of time. It does not need the dependence of humanity. Humanity did not invent it, what...

...t all depends on your imagination. Art is invented for the reason that it has been there for us to enjoy and create out own ideas to it. Art can never be right or wrong that is why it is invented.
Humanity has survived and accomplished so much throughout time. The human mind has evolved much since the dawn of time. With the evolution of the humanity and the mind came discovery and invention. Discovery and invention state the beings for area of knowledge such as mathematics, natural science, history and the arts. Since the dawn the time there has been existing knowledge. The human mind has progressed and throughout figured out and invented area of knowledge. This accomplishment is just as great as discovering some areas of knowledge. Invented areas of knowledge are mathematics and the arts. And through time this has been accomplished many ways and recognize.
Science is a way of approaching the world, knowing why and how things around us are occurring. The scientific method allows scientists to be precise and focused. Through that medium, they can determine which hypotheses are consistently supported such that they become theories and which need more modification or rejection. This type of knowing can be tested and quantified. Scientists strive to make their observations as objective as possible, to be devoid of human interest. Scientists try to control all the variables ...
thinking comes from that and then in the long run more knowledge comes. It is a continuous cycle that never stops.
“Knowledge is nothing more than the systematic organization of facts”. Discuss this statement in relation to two areas of knowledge.
Art is not just brushstrokes, a proposal, a melody and not just the movement of a body, in fact, it is all of those things. Art can be done with a group of people or just by an invidious. Art can range from professionals to moochers from creators to thinkers. One piece of art can be expressed in many different ways. An example of this is Shakespeare; the famous tragedy of Romeo and Juliet turned from a piece of writing into a playwright then to a performance play and even now every educational system is required to know a famous piece of work and learn from it. Likewise, Leonardo Da Vinci was an Italian Renaissance polymath who used art to express his unforeseen creative
What is art? That is the debatable question. Does the piece present a message? Does it have to be complex? Does it have to create an emotion? Is aesthetic appeal the only requirement? This paper consists of several opinions as to what art is.
Scientific knowledge has had a huge impact on the world. Without the brains of historical scientists, modern day would be completely lost. “Science is a way of learning about what is in the natural world, how the natural world works, and how the natural world got to be the way it is.”(The California Museum of Paleontology). Hard work, determination, and dedication allow mankind to grow through the minds of great thinkers.
If people can give an accurate concept of art, then it is better to say that art gave the artist a definite goal and motivation. Any work of art is needed imagination to be created and completed. I always love to draw, but when I really put the painting as a major, I feel very confused. Because I think I am too lack of imagination, and there is no way to create the ideal work for me. Until I see Andre Masson’s art work “Man in a Tower” in the Guggenheim museum, I know that creative ideas could be inspired by many basic and normal elements of our life. Gradually I have a deeper understanding of art and have the confidence to complete the painting.
Virtually every branch of knowledge, as we know it today, came from particularly two powerful empires of the ancient past, which are the Greek and Roman Empire. Although there were other civilizations, such as the Arabs and the Mayans, that made progress in knowledge, especially mathematics, the Greeks and Romans have been more recognized for the development of other branches of knowledge. The Greeks and Romans have been known to be the promoters of the natural sciences and philosophy. Psychology stemmed from philosophy. Unlike philosophy, however, it encompassed the techniques of the natural sciences. Psychology seemed to be the link between philosophy and the sciences back then.
...been generated over time through develops in technology, scientific advancements as well as advancements in math and the arts. Architecture and engineering incorporates math and the arts through designing buildings or constructing bridges using both creative and critical thinking. Another example is computer graphics pertaining to the incorporation of math and arts. This knowledge is generated over time through developments in technology from pushing new limits and expanding on old ideas. Both critical thinking and creative thinking are needed to generate new knowledge.
Science can be defined as a concept of observations and inquiries that the whole world applies depending on certain natural laws which are discovered and tested. Some academics come across ideas which have existed, they explore and test these ideas using scientific methods. These methods are based on observations or experience which compel academics into hypothesis testing (Comer, Gould, & Furnham, 2013). It is suggested that science has key
...elieve knowledge is extremely important as it also plays an enormous role in imagination. Without knowledge being shared, brilliant minds would not able to improve upon current situations. If Bill Gates had no knowledge in computing, knowledge that he acquired from other people through education, he would not have developed the Microsoft computer. The knowledge acquired from other sources fed his mind into imagining and developing the Microsoft computer.
Although science is definitely a method of obtaining knowledge, when it comes to explaining the universe and human experience, it has both strengths and weaknesses in comparison to other explanations such as art and religion.
So to answer the question you need to think what is art? To me art is a form of representing a person’s ideas which can be in any form of media whether it be a painting, a film, or a song, a novel or a photograph. For it to be classed as art though it must provoke emotion or thought and show signs of creativity.
Science and Technology has been around from the beginning of time. It evolved from the everyday efforts of people trying to improve their way of life. Throughout history, humankind has developed and utilized tools, machines, and techniques without understanding how or why they worked or comprehending their physical or chemical composition. Before we go any further a definition has to be given for both Science and Technology because they are both different in their own right even though the two are almost indistinguishable. According to the Oxford Dictionary Technology can be defined as the knowledge or use of the mechanical arts and applied sciences, while Science can be defined as the branch of knowledge involving systematized observation and experiment. Science can be further divided into three separate categories; Pure, Applied and Natural Sciences. In addition technology is often defined as applied science, it is simply the application of scientific knowledge to achieve a specific human purpose, however, historical evidence suggests technology is a product of science.
As it becomes evident from historical observations, research was creation of the curiosity which is caused by the human nature. A lot of the discoveries that occurred in the ancient years were achieved by luck. After that they acquired experience and skills to explore more and more for new achievements. The acute interest on discovering new methods and ideas gave answers to questions which faced the society of each period. All this doubts could not be answered on their own. Some people had to make researches on specific subjects, they had to observe them and after a lot of work on it they had to present the result. They got experience on resolving problems of humanity and so science appeared. Nowadays, science is involved in every aspect of our life, even in subjects that we can not imagine. We can meet remarkable examples of scientific achievements in technology and also in society but they will be analyzed in the next chapters.
